This gay group trip enables you to visit two amazing countries and meet like-minded people at the same time. Highlights in India include your time in Cochin where you'll visit the oldest European style church in India, an amazing yoga session in Kumarakom and the animal sanctuaries at Periyar National Park reserve. Not only that but you'll get to experience even more culture in Sri Lanka with visits to UNESCO Rock Fortress of Sigiriya and the Temple of the Tooth.

Arrival in Cochin

After your flight, you'll be transferred to your hotel where you can settle in and take in your new surroundings (please note those travelling from the US should catch a flight that departs 24 hours before to arrive in Cochin in time).

Exploring Cochin

After breakfast you will explore the rich culture of Conchi with a local guide who will give you all the interesting information you need to know, including the fact that Conchi boasts St Francis Church which is the oldest European style church in India. In the afternoon you'll get to discover the lesser known eclectic market followed by a delicious dinner before seeing Kathakali performance at a local theatre.  


This morning you'll end your time in Cochin by witnessing the fisherman in action as you visit the local beach where there are auctions on where people bid for the catches of the day. After this you'll get to sample a home-made breakfast at a local farm house. Following from this you'll continue your journey to the amazing Kumarakom; here you'll have the rest of the day to relax, although if you fancy it, we suggest visiting the Ayurveda Centre for a massage.

Philipkutty’s Farm, Kumarakom

After a hearty breakfast, you'll begin your day with a sensational session of yoga under the provision of an expert yogi. Following from this you'll spend today at Philipkutty’s Farm. Here you'll get a taste of the great cuisine and get a real Kerelan experience.


Day five sees you exploring the brilliant backwaters on a houseboat, on your journey through these canals you'll pass little villages, rice fields, and more, where you'll get to stop off, giving you a feel for what life is like in Kerala as boat is the only mode of transport used to get around. In the evening, the crew will prepare you a tasty dinner as you cruise along your fascinating surroundings.


Today you'll drive overland to Thekkady through the Cardamon Hills, these hills make up part of the great Western Ghats range which splits the Deccan Plateau from the Indian Ocean. Following from this you'll visit Periyar, famous for its spice crops, here you'll explore the pepper planatation where you'll get to experience the fascinating sights and stunning smells.

Periyar National Park

Day seven sees you discovering the amazing wildlife at Periyar National Park reserve, here you'll have a guided walk leading you towards Periyar Lake. Once you've arrived at the lake you can hop on a bamboo raft and voyage through the amazing highlights of the area, with approximately 35 animal species; today is truly unforgettable. In the afternoon, you'll drive towards Madurai.


Today you'll get to explore the captivating culture in Madurai, this includes Sri Meenakshi Temple, the fascinating remains of the Thirumalai Palace and a visit to the great Gandhi Memorial Museum. In the evening, you'll revisit the temple to witness the temple bronze of Lord Shiva being transported to the Parvati bed chamber.


After breakfast you'll fly to Chennai, here you'll get to experience its marvellous mix of modern and traditional influences to its amazing art and archeology collections. Following from this you'll visit Fort St. George which is presently being occupied by the Tamil Nadu Government and then at the end of the day you'll get to see Kapaleeswarar Temple, the largest temple in Chennai, dating back to the thirteenth century.


Day ten brings you to the ancient Pallava port of Mahabalipuram. Here you'll get to witness the open-air bas-reliefs, man made caves, structured temples and much more; the beauty of these creations is that they were sculpted without using timber, brick or mortar. Make sure you see the world heritage monment Shore Temple as it is amazing sight.

Arrival in Sri Lanka

Today you'll head to Chennai airport where you'll get your connecting flight to Colombo, Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred from the airport to your hotel where you will settle in before you adventure in Sri Lanka begins.


After breakfast you'll begin your adventure by exploring the wonderful culture in Colombo; this includes the brilliant Hindu and Buddhist temples, the New Parliament in Sri Jayewardenepura and Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall. In the afternoon, you'll take a scenic drive through the luscious vegetation to Dambulla where you'll visit the fantastic cave temple.


Day thirteen enables you to further explore the dashing Dambulla. In the morning you'll visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of  the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya, following from this you'll drive to Polonnaruwa where you'll get to witness the remnants of the capital of the Singhalese kings.


Today you'll embark on your journey to Kandy, on route you will stop of at Matale to experience the local spice garden and all its spices and essential oils. Upon arrival to Kandy, you'll visit the terrific Temple of the Tooth, home of the most important Buddhist relic, the temple's tooth.

Nuwara Eliya

Before leaving Kandy, you'll visit the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, which are world-famous and boast some of the most fantastic varieties of flora in the world. Following from this, you'll drive to Nuwara Eliya and its amazing tea estates. Also just for all you tea lovers, you'll get to stop off at some of the tea factories once you arrive.


Today you'll drive to the gorgeous Galle and discover all its wonderful highlights including the UNESCO World Heritage Site of a Dutch Fort from the seventeenth century which displays amazing views of the town harbour from the top of the walls.


Today you'll leave Galle and drive to Colombo where you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
