TRIP SUMMARY

This seven day itinerary allows you to explore the best of Israel. A picturesque country, steeped in history, you’ll visit some of the most well known sites on earth, as well as getting to swim in the Dead Sea. In Jerusalem you’ll visit the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - the place believed to be where Jesus was crucified but also the site of his tomb. At Masada, a UNESCO world heritage site, you’ll take a cable car to the mountain fortress and learn about the last Jewish site against Roman invasion. Explore Tel Aviv by enjoying time at the beach, in the boutique shops and the historic Old City of Jaffa. For those who like to party, Tel Aviv has an abundance of nightlife.

Day 1

Jerusalem

Upon arrival at Ben-Guiron International Airport you’ll be met by an OutOfOffice.com representative who will help you collect your baggage and direct you to the car that is waiting to take you to Jerusalem.

Check in to your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and explore at your leisure.

Day 2

Jerusalem

With your guide you’ll see the Old City, including the Western Wall, the Roman Cardo, the room of the Last Supper, Via Delarosa, the Arab Market and more. You’ll also be taken to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the church built on the site where it’s believed Jesus was crucified and the location of his tomb. Experience panoramic views from the Mount of Olives as well.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust museum which was established as a response to reports of the mass murder of Jews in Nazi-occupied countries. The Hall of Names is a memorial to the 6 million Jews who perished in the Holocaust.

Day 3

Masada and the Dead Sea

You’ll drive to Masada, the iconic mountain fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ascending the mountain by cable car, you’ll learn about the last Jewish stronghold against Roman invasion. More than two thousand years have passed since the fall of Masada yet the regional topography and its remoteness have preserved the remains of its extraordinary story.

Nearby is the Dead Sea and the lowest point on earth.  You’ll visit the AHAVA Dead Sea Factory Shop. You’ll get to explore the natural minerals, float in the healing Dead Sea water and indulge in natural mud pools.

You’ll then head to Tel Aviv and check in to your hotel.

Day 4

Tel Aviv

After breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to head to the beach. The gay beach is located at the Hilton but there are beaches right along the Tel Aviv coastline.

You’re free to experience the historical sites of the Old City of Jaffa, known for being in the biblical stories of Jonah, Solomon and Saint Peter. Explore the cobbled streets and alleyways and then check out some of the local bars.

Day 5

Tel Aviv

After breakfast at the hotel, you can choose to have more time at the beach or head to the Tel Aviv Art Museum.

Stroll through Rothschild Boulevard & the White City, Neve Tzeddek Neighbourhood - the first area to be built outside the Old City of Jaffa before Tel Aviv sprouted in 1909.

Enjoy the bars and the cafes around Rothschild Boulevard in the evening.

Day 6

Tel Aviv

Following breakfast, visit the bustling Carmel Market, where everything is fresh and watch locals shop as they prepare for Shabbat, the Sabbath.

Free time to explore the Nahalat Binyamin Artist Market and time to shop at the famous Shenkin Street.
