Day 1

Arrive in Tromso, affectionately described as the Paris of the North you’ll be met by one of our colleagues who will transfer you to your hotel to check in.

That afternoon you’ll be picked up and be taken on a private snowmobile safari. The Lyngen Alps are one of northern Norway's premier winter wilderness playgrounds and this exhilarating snowmobile tour takes you from fjord to mountain - offering you the chance to experience the fantastic scenery here.

Your trip begins in easy terrain, following a well-established trail, allowing you time to get to grips with your machine. As the tour proceeds, you will also be exposed to the more exhilarating sides of snowmobiling as you follow the contours of the mountain and taking in the alpine landscape.

After the trip you’ll be driven back to your hotel where you’ll have the evening to relax.

Day 2

You’ll start the day with breakfast at the hotel.

In the late morning, your guide and private vehicle will come to pick you up and show you the city of Tromso. During the tour you will visit the Arctic Cathedral, a highly rated architectural masterpiece built in 1965.

Continue to the Polar Museum, where the endeavors of many Norwegian explorers and hunters are showcased before spending the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

In the evening, you will visit the Mack Brewery. Here you will see how the world’s most northern brewery brews its beer and “arctic mineral water”.

The tour ends back at your hotel.

Day 3

After breakfast you’ll leave Tromso for Kirkenes. This involves a short flight.

Kirkenes is nestled in between the Varanger Fjord and the Russian border, serving as the most remote outpost of mainland Norway.

Once in Kirkenes, get ready to go on a King Crab Safari. Transfer via boat or snowmobile (depending on conditions) alongside your guide. You will watch the divers submerge themselves into the icy water hunting for the massive crabs.

Once you’re back on the mainland, indulge yourself in a lovely King Crab Lunch.

You’ll then head back to your hotel where you’ll have a chance to explore the local surroundings or relax

Then, in the evening, we’ll arrange for you to go on a Northern Lights hunt. Whilst they can never be guaranteed you’re probably in one of the best places in the world to see the spectacular light show.

Recommended Accommodation:

Day 4

After breakfast you’ll travel with your guide to the Kirkenes Snow Hotel.

A unique hotel, upon arrival you’ll be treated to an Ice-drink made from berries from the local area.

In the evening, enjoy a 3-course traditional Norwegian dinner with locally sourced ingredients.

After dinner, explore the snow hotel further and meet the resident reindeers. Look up into the night sky and if you’re lucky you’ll witness the Northern Lights for a second time.

Day 5

After breakfast we’ll get you back to the airport for your onward journey.
