Day 1

Lima (Peru)

Your adventure kicks off with a group meeting where you will have the chance to meet you group leader and fellow adventure enthusiasts.

Then head off to Lima’s historic centre for a walking tour exploring the Spanish colonial architecture.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner which is held at a local gay-welcoming restaurant, followed by a few cocktails if you feel up for it!

Day 2

Amazon Jungle (Peru)

To start your day, you will be flying to Puerto Maldonado where you will leave most of your luggage behind. You will just need a day-pack filled with two nights of essentials. Next, you will take a journey on a motorised canoe up-river to a jungle lodge.

In the afternoon, encounter the jungle with local guides as they introduce you to some fauna and flora. With thousands of butterflies above you, you will have the chance to see macaws to monkeys. The variety of lifeforms will blow your mind.

Day 3

Amazon Jungle (Peru)

You can either take it easy today or engage in one of the optional activities such as mountain-biking, kayaking, canopy climbing, and even stand-up paddle boarding. Let the jungle be your playground!

Day 4

Cusco (Peru)

After returning to Puerto Maldonado by canoe, you will board your next flight to Cusco. This city is one of South America’s oldest cities and sits at the altitude of 3,400m.

It's a lazy afternoon as you adjust to the increase of altitude with a short orientation walk that includes a visit to the local San Pedro market.

The evening is at your leisure to explore or join the group for an optional dinner.

Day 5

Sacred Valley/Ollantaytambo (Peru)

Enjoy the scenic drive as you head to the Sacred Valley via private transfer. En route, have the chance to visit a farming community before arriving in Ollantaytambo. During the Inca Empire, this town was the royal estate of the Emperor and famous for its fortress above town. 

The rest of the day is at your leisure. Be sure to visit the fortress - entrance is free!

Day 6

Aguas Clients (Peru)

This morning, the glass panel ceilings of the Vistadome train will allow you to soak in as much of the view as possible on your journey through the Urubamba Valley before arriving in the town of Aguas Calientes.

Take the afternoon to rest up, as tomorrow you will visit Machu Picchu.

Day 7

Machu Picchu/Cusco (Peru)

It's the day you have been waiting for! With an early start, the group will take the windy road to Machu Picchu.

A private local guide will engage with you as you explore this ancient site. You will be given time to discover its wonders on your own before an optional lunch.

In the afternoon, you will take the Vistadome train back to the Sacred Valley and be transferred to Cusco before resting for the evening.

Day 8

Cusco (Peru)

After your long day yesterday, you will have either the option to visit the archaeological sites of Saqsayhuaman, Qenqo & Tambomachay via private transport or have a lie in and explore Cusco on your own.

Although not as spectacular as Manchu Picchu, very memorable, these sites remain a historically significant and are worth a visit. 

In the evening, everyone will come together for a farewell dinner as you share fond memories and say goodbye to friends.


Day 9

Cusco/Departure (Peru)

No activities are planned for your final day, so after checking out of your hotel, you are free to depart at your own leisure to continue on your travels or to travel home.
