Day 1

Arrive in San Juan

You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Old San Juan. The afternoon is at your leisure to walk around the streets and explore the local area. You could even head to the beach if you fancy!

Day 2

San Juan 

Today you will be exploring San Juan. Old San Juan is the second oldest city in the Americas and has the biggest and most important natural harbour in the Caribbean.

You can enjoy the magnificent colonial plazas and buildings, fantastic shopping, great restaurants, it's fortresses and the world famous El Morro Castle. Walking the cobblestones streets of this old city alone by itself is an unforgettable experience.

Day 3

San Juan 

Today you have several options you can choose from:

Museum of Art of Puerto Rico - Located in the neighbourhood of Santurce, near the tourist zone of Condado and Isla Verde. Contains one of the largest collections of Puerto Rican art dating back from the XVIII Century to the present.

San Felipe Del Morro Castle and Fort San Cristobal (San Juan National Historic Site) – Administered by the National Park Service. Explore the largest fortress built by the Spaniards in the New World; visit the dungeons, tunnels, sentry boxes and experience how the Spanish soldiers lived while defending the city walls and harbor from pirates, corsairs and buccaneers.

Casa Bacardí (Cataño) – Situated across the San Juan Bay in the nearby municipality of Cataño, you can visit the largest rum distillery in the world. Enjoy an interactive tour through history and learn the rum production process.

Day 4

Shopping in Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is home to the Caribbean’s largest shopping centre, Plaza Las Americas. Head here for a day of shopping!

Another shopping option would be a visit to the most luxurious mall in the Caribbean, opened just recently in March 2015 - The Mall of San Juan. 


Day 5

Head to North East Puerto Rico

Today you will be heading North East to Canóvanas (around a 40-minute drive). Once you have checked into your hotel you have a choice of activities you can do:

El Yunque Rainforest (Río Grande) – Is the only rainforest in the U.S. National Park Service system. El Yunque has been a Federal Forest Reserve for over a century. Originally set aside in 1876 by the Spanish Crown, the forest represents one of the oldest reserves in the Western Hemisphere.

You could head to Luquillo Beach which backs on to El Yunque Rainforest. Lounge on the gorgeous white sand and take a dip in the warm Caribbean sea. (You can combine a trip to the El Yunque Rainforest with a trip to the beach.)

Day 6

Fajardo

Today you can explore Fajardo, here are some suggested activities you can do during your stay:

Visit Las Croabas Bioluminescent Bay (Fajardo) – A main attraction that distinguishes Puerto Rico as unique among the rest of the islands in the Caribbean. Las Croabas is one of three bioluminescent or glowing bays in Puerto Rico. Have a magical experience with the mysterious blue-green light in the water.

Head out to sea on a catamaran cruise for the day. Explore uninhabited islands and cays, snorkelling and sipping tropical drinks.

If you fancy a bit of nature discovery, then head to Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve (Fajardo).

Day 7

Fajardo 

Today is your last full day. Spend it at your leisure and lap up the last of the gorgeous Puerto Rican sun!
