Day 2

Modernism and Gaudi Tour (2.5 hours followed by entry to the Sagrada Familia)

With your private guide, you will be able to enjoy the most renowned modernist houses of the city, such as La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, Casa Amatller and Casa Lleó i Morera. You’ll dive into the streets of the Eixample district and discover other less well-known but equally spectacular architectural gems like the Casa Calvet, Casa de les Punxes or Casa Macaya.

The tour continues to the Sagrada Familia, a church that has been under construction for over 100 years, where you will be able to marvel at the meticulously and richly decorated exterior which portrays many biblical scenes and emphasises Gaudi’s deeply religious nature. This is one of Barcelona’s most iconic landmarks and is likely to astound.

At the end of the tour you will be able to go inside the Sagrada Familia on your own and explore for as long as you want.

That evening after dinner (and remember in Spain it’s a late one), you’ll embark on a nighttime bar tour. Barcelona is a popular destination for partygoers with a vibrant bar and club scene.

We’ll pick you up after dinner or at your hotel and head to the most popular bars located in the district known as Gayxample where you’ll find a variety of gay pubs and bars.

When the tour ends around 1am, you can ask your guide for further recommendations if you want to carry on partying at the newest and hottest clubs or if you’d rather head to one of the well established haunts, some of which have been going for more than 25 years.

If you want to explore the lesbian scene, it is more tricky to navigate as parties happen at different locations each week. With our guide you’ll be sure to make the most of your evening and not miss out on any goings on.

Day 3

Gothic Quarter (3 hours)

Although Barcelona is well known for its modern architecture, it has a history that stretches back 2,000 years to the Roman period with its heartland in what is known as the Gothic Quarter.

Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel and you’ll head to the Arco de Triunfo and the Ciutadella Park, where you will find the Castle of the Three Dragons, the Zoo, the Catalonian Parliament and a spectacular waterfall, to name a few. This was the legacy of the 1888 Barcelona Universal Exposition.

Afterwards, you will visit the ancient Gothic Quarter where in every alleyway you walk through, you will discover something spectacular, like the Cathedral, the Roman walls or the Jewish Quarter.

From there, you will be able to enjoy a spectacular view of the city. With the old military fortress close by, you will learn more about how the castle was used to defend the city in times of war.

Afterwards, everyone will descend and visit the Olympic complex which was created for the 1992 Olympic Games. You can also see the impressive National Museum of Catalan Art before visiting the Plaza España which is one of the most popular squares in the city.
