Bodrum

You'll start in Bodrum, a beautiful city on the Bodrum Peninsula full of beautiful beaches, trendy restaurants, exclusive boutiques and hip hotels and clubs. This is one of the most upscale places you'll find in Turkey and is a great place to start your sailing adventure. Take a look around the beautiful castle, stroll along the marina and soak up the sun or visit one of the few gay bars in the area for something to do in the evening. Here is where you will also meet all of your fellow sailors and you'll all have a chance to get acquainted.

Bodrum Turkey
Datça

Datça is one of the most tranquil places to visit in Turkey, with its beautiful mountainous landscape jutting out into the Aegean Sea. The ancient Greeks believed that Datça was so beautiful that Zeus personally created it himself with aquamarine waters, unspoiled beaches, and stretches of lush greenery. You can still find old Grecian ruins here, such as the ruins of the Knidos amphitheater and harbour. The beautiful waters here, along with the many bays, coves and beaches make it an ideal stop in your sailing adventure.

Dalyan River

On your gay sailing adventure, you will also visit the Dalyan River. Explore this specially protected area which is home to a myriad of treasures such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Kings' Tombs of ancient Kaunos which are found built into the cliffsides. Also found along the Dalyan River is the İztuzu Beach Sea Turtle Sanctuary, where there are conservation efforts for these fascinating creatures, as well as popular mud baths you can enjoy.

Islands of Marmaris

Marmaris is known for being a huge tourist and holiday spot and is much more developed than the other places on the trip. However, you will be exploring the islands of Marmaris whilst you're sailing which are just off the coastline - much quieter, much more beautiful and much better for sailing. Take a swim in the crystal-clear waters and enjoy the coves, bays, and beaches of the islands of Marmaris such as Sedir Island, Paradise Island or Little Marmaris Island. This is the perfect place to lay back and relax. On Marmaris itself, find many bars, clubs and restaurants to enjoy in the evening.

Göcek

Göcek is a place of exceptional natural beauty - a hidden gem nestled amongst the mountains that overlook the Aegean Sea, covered in pine forests, beautiful gardens coupled whilst still acting as an international yachting centre with five first-class marinas. This is a much more private place to sail with some beaches almost completely secluded which may possibly have been the attraction for A-list visitors such as Demi Moore, Tina Turner, Prince Charles and Bruce Willis.
