There has been an increase in recent years of people neglecting travel experiences, instead looking for the cheapest possible room and then getting to a destination and realising they have no idea what to do for the next few days and ultimately wasting their time.
Once you’re out of office, we want to make sure you make the most of your time away from your desk. That means not just staying at the best hotels, but also doing the best things and eating in the best restaurants. Long live experiential travel because let’s face it, nothing teaches us better than our own experiences.
So we’ve built some incredible itineraries and experiences for you to enjoy – from exploring Australia’s Great Barrier Reef after a trip to Sydney Mardi Gras to a trip around the Galapagos. If the Northern Lights are something you’ve always wanted to see we’ll do our best to make it happen and if you’ve always wanted to go on safari in Africa then we’ve got just the trip for you too. But what’s even better about Out Of Office is that we can customise just about anything on each trip. So if you don’t like a particular city, or want to add in some extra experiences then we can do that too. In fact, we’d like to hope there’s nothing we can’t do – if you’re looking for somewhere ultra special for a proposal let us know or if you want us to sort you a private jet for you and your friends to jet off somewhere exotic, just say.
You’ll probably have noticed too that a lot of the imagery we use is different to some of our counterparts. We’re very much focusing on being a company that welcomes everyone and so we thought it was really important to include and build the itineraries for people from all walks of life.
We’re proud to say we’re the first travel company of its kind to build our itineraries especially for the LGBTQ market. Most of our itineraries are suitable for everyone but we wanted to be very clear in what we set out to do – that all the suppliers we use are gay friendly and LGBTQ friendly and more important gay welcoming.
Gay travel companies in the past have not had the best reputation and we hope to turn around that perception. Lots of the brands have been rooted in hedonism and indeed have had questionable individuals running their affairs.

Whether it’s a short break away you’re planning, or perhaps an adventurous gay honeymoon we can help. For too long those within the LGBT community have felt nervous when travelling about whether a destination is gay friendly or whether the hotel staff will understand our requirements. I know I certainly have – I spent weeks researching a trip to Egypt and quite frankly that’s not something that should be necessary.
Each of our itineraries has been carefully crafted with reputable partners and hotels in order to ensure that they offer an equal welcome for everyone. Everyone we work with understands our brand and the mission we’re trying to achieve.
