Group Trip Breakdown
Day 1: Athens
A Greek island hopping adventure has to begin in Athens. It’s where you catch the most reliable transfers. What’s more, it’s packed with extraordinary history and buzzing nightlife. Take a trip to the Acropolis and see some of the greatest buildings from the ancient world. Visit the new Acropolis Museum, have a drink in a taverna and explore the trendy Gazi area.
Day 2: Milos
Milos is a dreamy, secluded island surrounded by the bluest waters in the Aegean. You’ll find uncrowded port towns, 75 beaches and blue caves. This is one of the less visited Greek islands so you won’t be contending with vast crowds – as you often will in Oia and Fira.
Day 3: Santorini
Santorini is the most romantic island in Greece. It’s a perennial favourite for honeymoons. The blue-domed churched, white stone buildings and sweeping caldera views form the perfect Instagram backdrop. You’ll see the spectacular cliffs of Santorini as the ship approaches. We’ll visit the village of Oia and explore the charming Cycladic architecture. Over in Akrotiri, you’ll catch a glimpse of the Minoan civilization that flourished on the island before the eruption at Thera destroyed it and most likely launched the myth of Atlantis.
Day 4: Bodrum
Today we’ll sail to Bodrum, Turkey’s most popular seaside getaway. Turkey is, of course, Greece’s historic rival. Notable conflicts include the fall of Constantinople in 1453, the Ottoman conquest of Greece and the partition of Cyprus. The two countries have a tangled, complex history, to say the least.
Bodrum was once the ancient city of Halicarnassus. It’s a charming place to explore with a glittering marina. The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus was one of the wonders of the ancient world.
Day 5 To 6: Mykonos
Mykonos is the most popular gaystination in the Meditteranean. It has amazing gay beaches, gay nightlife and charming, whitewashed buildings. Raise a glass at Jackie O’ and feast your eyes on some of the finest eye candy in Europe. It’s a great place to party, unwind and mingle with the international jet-set.
Day 7: Sifnos
Sifnos is one of the most beautiful Greek islands. It’s an ideal place to decompress after the madness of Mykonos. Explore charming medieval villages, the island’s acropolis and its excellent food scene. Sifnos is considered to be the current “it” destination for foodies in Greece. The chickpea soup is a local speciality.
Day 8: Spetses
Spetses has long been a playground for the rich. There’s one village on the island. It’s a great place to explore on a bike. You’ll see yachts bobbing the marinas, chic restaurants and glamorous people wandering around. Visit the Spetses Museum and see archaeological finds chronicling the island’s 4000-year history.
Day 9: Departure
Your Greek island hopping adventure draws to a close. Say goodbye to your fellow sailors and the crystal waters of the Aegean. You’ll be transferred to Athens for your return flight.
