A vacation to the Maldives is one of the most popular luxury destinations you can choose on earth. Staying on a Robinson Crusoe island with all the luxuries you can dream of is ideal for romance. You can enjoy a candlelit dinner on the beach, indulge in world-class spa treatments and drink champagne on the terrace of your private overwater bungalow. It’s a place to experience total relaxation. The Maldives is known as a fly-and-flop destination.
Going on vacation to the Maldives is a stunning experience and we believe it really does capture your heart and soul. We know many of our clients return time and time again, experiencing a new resort each time, simply because the level of luxury and relaxation on a Maldives vacation some say is unparalleled.
Booking a vacation package to the Mmaldives frees you from all of this stress for a very simple reason: there isn’t really all that much to do. You can add a scuba diving excursion in between trips to the spa and the beach, but your vacation to the Maldives will be centred around relaxation, great food and perfect weather.
Around half of the inhabited islands of the Maldives are home to resorts. These resorts emerged over the last forty years. Prior to that, the Maldives was far-flung archipelago in the Indian Ocean, little known to the outside world.
The Maldives is really a destination that is prime for relaxation. For those who love the water, there are many watersports you can try – from paddleboarding to diving. Some of the best diving in the region can be found in the Baa Atoll – which is a UNESCO biosphere reserve.
In recent years, the Maldives’ luxury resorts have upped their game considerably. Competition has spurred innovation – not least the iconic underwater restaurants. The most famous of these is the Ithaa Undersea Restaurant at the Conrad Rangali. You can even opt for underwater spa treatments.
Another great option is a dhoni sunset cruise – keep an eye out for dolphins. You can also spend a day island hopping. If it’s romance you’re after – whether or not it’s your honeymoon – we can arrange special candlelit dinners on the beach of even a private island dining experience where you will have an entire small island all to yourself.
Once you arrive for your vacation in the Maldives, you will take either a speedboat or a seaplane to your resort.
