About your itinerary

? Don't forget that if something isn't quite right we can make changes to the itinerary.
Thank you so much for your call on Tuesday about your amazing travel plans to head to France this summer for a special getaway. I am delighted to enclose your itinerary, with some beautiful time in both Paris, the heart of Provence, Saint Tropez, and ending in the fabulous city of Nice.
Included in your itinerary you will find our luxury meet & greet services, as well as a selection of incredible hotels throughout, giving you not just some of the best locations, but also some impeccable service and culinary delights throughout.
You also will find some amazing tours and experiences during your trip to really make it extra special, with a lovely private tour of Paris focusing on the LGBTQ+ side of the city as well as skip-the-line tickets to the Louvre, a gorgeous optional private yacht charter to Cannes from Saint Tropez for the day, as well as a lovely trip back in time to Eze, with a hint of Monaco from Nice.
As well as your tours, I have made sure that travel is seamless throughout, with first class trains and the odd private vehicle to get you to/from the hotels and the destinations you are indulging in.
Due to availability in Saint Tropez, I needed to shuffle your stays around a bit, so after Paris, I actually have you travelling down to Provence, where you will be staying in the beautiful Chateau de la Gaude (because no trip to Provence is complete without a stay in a Chateau!). With gorgeous vineyards surrounding your hotel, as well as a beautiful spa, these two nights are all about relaxing and indulging.
Then you will head down to Saint Tropez, and enjoy a four night stay at my personal favourite, the spectacular 5* Villa Cosy – a real retreat within walking distance of the beach clubs, and the old town, making it the real deal when it comes to stays on this part of the Riviera. I needed to add an extra night in Saint Tropez to ensure we could get you the best accommodation as it seems this summer some of the best properties have a minimum of 4 night stay.
I am really excited to hear what your thoughts are in the next couple of hours and of course hopefully it hits all the boxes for you. One thing I will say is to be completely transparent, both your Provence stay and La Villa Cosy only have one room left, so we will need to move pretty swiftly to ensure that these stays are guaranteed – I certainly don't want you guys to miss out!
Speak very soon and enjoy reading through.
Best travels,

Excursion Paris Gay Tour & Marais District’s Secrets
Today you will be met by our friendly gay/lesbian guide in your hotel lobby for a stunning queer-focused tour of Paris.
Take a lovely walk from your hotel to the nearby Marais District, the new trendy area with cool individual fashion boutiques and a hidden food market. Afterwards continue your walking tour in Canal Saint Martin, a hip area where many gay people have moved to in recent years, with fun street art, cool cafes and a design bookshop plus walking along the historic canal where boats still sail on.
Finally, reach the Louvre Museum where you will experience a great gay-centric tour following the gay history trail of many French and European artists. I know this is one of the highlights of Paris you have done in the past, however, I added this in because this is a very astonishingly gay museum. Your expert guide will focus on the sections from ancient Greek and Roman and the Italian Renaissance, where they were also often smiled at. The Louvre’s massive Greek vase collection is particularly rich in homoerotic themes, as are its Roman and Italian collections. Your guide will provide more scope of this for you, seeing this Museum in a whole new light than what you may have done before.
After a beautiful 3hrs exploring, it will be time to bid your guide farewell with the rest of your day at leisure.

As I know you are both big on food, time in Paris would not be complete without a River Cruise, but I thought I would add in an exclusive one, on a Michelin-worthy Dinner Cruise along the River Seine on the fabulous Don Juan II. Make your own way to the Port where you will be met by your friendly crew and skipper as well as a few other keen diners, before boarding.
The Don Juan II is an exceptional yacht cruise that plunges you into a moment of elegance along the Seine. Your cruise begins in the heart of Paris, at Port Debilly where the Don Juan II is moored, on the right bank, facing the Eiffel Tower. The Don Juan II immerses you in intimate luxury for your dinner. Decorated with exotic wood and textiles from Maison Pierre Frey, it celebrates French craftsmanship in harmony with today's Paris and the Art Deco spirit.
On this 2.5 hr cruise, you can expect to enjoy first-class food over 5 courses, prepared passionately by Frédéric Anton. His breathtaking plates embody the harmony of aesthetics and taste for a pleasantly surprising dining experience. Enjoy Paris from the water on this exclusive voyage and dine in excellence.

Text Welcome to Aix-en-Provence
A pocket of left-bank Parisian chic deep in Provence, Aix (pronounced like the letter X) is all class: its leafy boulevards and public squares are lined with 17th- and 18th-century mansions, punctuated by gurgling moss-covered fountains. Haughty stone lions guard its grandest avenue, cafe-laced cours Mirabeau, where fashionable Aixois pose on polished pavement terraces, sipping espresso. While Aix is a student hub, its upmarket appeal makes it pricier than other Provençal towns.

Château de la Gaude, an 18th-century Provençal bastide nestled in a green haven in the heart of Aix en Provence, is opening its doors in 2019. The man who dreamed of reviving this sleeping beauty of an estate has successfully transformed it into a unique place of life and conviviality, promoting a certain “art de vivre” around the worlds of wine, art and gastronomy.
Château de La Gaude is the ultimate Provençal bastide. Its various leisure and production functions have been perfectly preserved, and the estate offers remarkable balance in proportions and rigour in its construction. The sublime French garden, classified as a historic monument, is ideal for long walks. The alley – haven for butterfly hunting – adds yet another dimension to this place of character. A pleasure for the eyes and an ode to the city of Paul Cézanne.

Located in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, Château de la Gaude is the only wine estate in the town of Cézanne. Nestled between 250 and 400 meters in height, our plots benefit from the privileged climate of the Pinchinats district; offering us natural protection from the mistral and thereby preserving freshness throughout the area.
The highest point of Aix-en-Provence, our “Le Capéou” plot offers a breathtaking view of the Sainte Victoire as well as the entire estate.
The soils of Château de la Gaude correspond to rock formations dating from the Miocene which gave rise to a very wide diversity of geological formations. Their terroir is composed, among other things, of sandy marl and sandstone with a clay content that varies depending on the plot. We can finally find there, some alluvial deposits from the Quaternary in the form of rolled pebbles.
The estate has approximately 13 hectares of vines spread over 19 plots classified “AOC – Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence”. The grape varieties are mainly made up of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernets Sauvignon, Rolle, Sémillon, Grenache blanc and Clairette. They direct the production of the vines towards small but high-quality yields.

One of the most popular seaside towns on the French Riviera, Cannes is a perfect destination for your yacht charter. Spend some time ashore exploring Cannes, its old town and eventually doing some shopping. Head back to the yacht and cruise to the Lerins islands, two superb islets located off Cannes.
Take a stroll on the islands before lunch (paid locally) where we recommend La Guérite on island Sainte-Honorat or La Tonnelle on island Sainte-Marguerite. Spend some time at anchor in this beautiful environment, relaxing, swimming and snorkeling the crystal-clear waters. Leave for a scenic cruise along the French Riviera coastline. As you head back to Saint Tropez, you will stop on the way back at L'Esterel Massif for a swim.

This 19th-century white palace is one of the only hotels in central Nice to come complete with all the hallmarks of five-star luxury including all-day dining options, a spa and a plush new rooftop pool terrace. There's even a white Louis-XIV armchair in the lift. A dramatic glass-ceilinged atrium greets you with some impressive bronze equine sculptures. White is the colour of choice everywhere from the beautiful hotel façade to the marble-floored lobby, spa and even bedrooms. It's all so spotless that you would be safe undoubtedly to eat off the floor here.
The new star of the show is the outdoor pool terrace where you can chill out with panoramic rooftop views. There's a large basement spa offering a wide range of treatments from body wraps to facials using the sought-after Biologique Recherche beauty products. After your treatment, you can relax in the sauna or Turkish bath. Highlights include the multi-sensory showers, the ice fountains and the subterranean indoor pool with massaging water jets.
Rustic Italian cuisine is on offer at La Pescheria. With its open-plan kitchen, the indoor dining area spills out onto a pretty, covered outdoor terrace where tables group around an olive tree. Our favourite feature is the plush new BClub rooftop terrace where lazy summertime lunches and evening aperitifs are served as you lounge on navy-and-white striped sofas. The ground-floor Genesi bar area has a bright contemporary design, but would benefit from some softer evening lighting.

Your guide will greet you at your hotel to begin a fantastic full-day experience. To start, you will visit St Paul de Vence, the pearl of Provence. This village has an amazing history as it dates back to the 11th century. It is also one of the most-preserved and prettiest medieval villages in the region. The quality of life, (the art of living) and exceptional light have inspired many famous painters, writers and poets. You will stroll through picturesque narrow streets which are lined with over 40 art galleries, and souvenir shops as well. The town is a meeting point for artists from all over the world.
After some time with your guide here, you will then be driven to the beautiful village of Eze, an absolute must-visit. Your jaw will drop in front of the magnificent view of the Mediterranean. ‘Eze is a charming medieval village perched on a hill, built like an eagle’s nest with its exotic garden hanging from the ruins of the castle at an altitude of 400 m. Shoppers will delight in the many local perfumeries shops and art galleries. You will enjoy strolling in its small narrow cobbled streets lined with small cafes and restaurants, its vaulted passages, and its beautiful flowered houses. It’s fantastic!
Following your lovely experience in the village, you will then drive back down to the coast to the glamourous Monaco & Monte Carlo. Discover the second smallest country in the world, the (old town, with a walking tour), the Prince Palace, the cathedral (neo Romanesque style) where Grace and Rainier were married, the incredible oceanographic museum. It will be a sin to not go to Monte-Carlo along the formula 1 grand prix circuit, the most prestigious in the world. For that final bit of dramatic luxury, see the Grand casino built in 1862, it sits in front of a richly decorated garden which is dotted with water fountains.
After a truly memorable day, it will be time to head back to Nice where your guide will bid you farewell and you will have one final night, before heading to your next destination the following day.
