I am delighted to present you with your incredible itinerary for a group adventure to gorgeous Greece. You'll be able to experience the bustling capital hub of Athens, the unspoiled and underrated paradise of Milos, as well as the iconic Cycladic islands of Santorini and Mykonos.
Throughout your trip, you'll have the opportunity to join in on some wonderful already-included excursions, including a walking tour of Athens and ATV rental in Milos, as well as optional extra activities, beyond those that are included, such as a Delos Island tour, or a sunset cruise in Santorini.
As is our recommendation with all group travellers, I've included an extra night in Athens before the beginning of your group trip that will help in not only combatting any jet lag, but also allows you to settle into the majesty of Greece early, check-in to your group's hotel, and enjoy a seamless experience from start to finish. You'll also experience some fabulous private transfers on your arrival in Athens and your departure in Mykonos.
We'll be here every step of the way, ensuring your itinerary runs flawlessly upon your arrival in Greece. In location, you'll have direct access to one of our team who will travel with you all as your fabulous group leader. We'll handle all aspects of your booking – you only need to arrive at Athens International Airport, and from there our team on the ground will take you on the adventure of a lifetime.

Catch the sun setting over Santorini’s cliffs, start your day with a dive into the warm Aegean Sea, sip Ouzo in the shadow of the Acropolis, explore the famously gay island of Mykonos… so many options, all guaranteed to be unforgettable.
Our 11-day Greece trip promises to deliver the best of Athens and the Greek Islands with stops in dramatic Santorini, cosmopolitan Mykonos, and peaceful Milos. Our trips are, and always have been, laid-back, leaving plenty of room for spontaneity and adventure. No rushing around, no stress, no limiting daily itineraries, just a great group of guys who are all excited and ready to explore and have fun. And isn’t that what travel is all about?

Your group
Our groups are run with a maximum of 16 travellers. The ages of group members vary but around 90% of our travellers are in their 30's, 40's, and 50's. Whatever the age of the guys on our trips, everyone's already got something in common: an exciting new experience in a new country! Each group is led by a fabulous trip leader who is there to ensure everything goes off without a hitch, allowing you to focus on having the time of your life!
Meals on your group trip
Enjoy Greek food? It's even better in Greece! Their local cuisine is Mediterranean with Middle Eastern influences. Olives, cheeses, eggplant, lamb, and yoghurt can be found on almost every menu. Our group trips don't believe in limiting your choices by including all of your meals at pre-decided restaurants as part of the trip package. Instead, we include all of your breakfasts to start your day off, then encourage you to explore all of the different restaurant options available to you for lunch and dinner. This way you can eat when you want, where you want, with whomever you want, and spend what you want! Your trip leader definitely has their favourite spots so if you'd like some advice on the best in each location, just check with them.
Additional spending budget for your trip
Your big-ticket items are included throughout the trip, but you'll want to budget for additional spending such as additional meals, drinks, shopping, activities, etc. These costs can vary dramatically with differing personal habits but we suggest expecting to spend an additional $750 USD at the lower end for the more budget-conscious and $1200 USD at the higher end for the splurgers. We suggest arriving in Greece with approximately 300 Euros in cash.

With equal measures of grunge and grace, Athens is a heady mix of ancient history and contemporary cool.
The magnificent Acropolis, visible from almost every part of the city, is the hub around which Athens still revolves. This temple city, built in the 5th century BC, serves as a daily reminder to Greeks of their heritage and the city's many transformations. All over the urban basin, rooftops and balconies angle toward the landmark, a block of milky marble atop a steep-sided hill.
The cultural and social life of Athens plays out amid, around and in landmarks that are centuries old, if not millennia. The remnants of Ancient Greece get the most attention, of course. But don't overlook the 'later' years: thousand-year-old Byzantine churches, for instance, which squat, unruffled in the middle of streets and attached to hillsides. Ottoman traces can be seen in architecture and in food, and the neoclassical style of the 19th century adds elegance all over the centre.

A city that’s been around for 3400 years has definitely built up its fair share of must-see’s, so our time here is spent immersing ourselves in the new and old of Athens. The Acropolis and the Parthenon looming over the city, or the fascinating Archeology Museum are great places to spend the daytime before we head to the charming streets of Monastiraki for our evening and, if you've still got energy, the Gazi area for the bustling Athens social scene.
You'll arrive in Athens one day prior to beginning your group adventure (Day 0) – the best way to settle into Athens, check in to your group's hotel early, combat any jet lag and enjoy an extra day in this wonderful country. This is recommended for all travellers to ensure a completely seamless experience.
Your first meeting time with your group on Day 1 is at 4pm, when we'll all meet together to start our adventure. We'll talk through your upcoming itinerary in more detail, discussing the included and optional activities.

Volcanic Milos arches around a central caldera and is ringed with dramatic coastal landscapes of colourful and surreal rock formations. The island’s most celebrated export, the Venus de Milo, is far away in the Louvre, but dozens of beaches (the most of any Cycladic island) and a series of picturesque villages contribute to its current, compelling, attractions.
Milos will surely steal your heart – it guarantees a restful and attractive vacation under sunny, fresh and dry days, and deep-blue starred skies.

Milos is an unspoiled paradise, an undiscovered oasis of stunning beaches, ancient ruins, and breathtaking vistas, inhabited by the friendliest people in Greece. It's full of passionately proud residents who can't wait to tell you all about their island. We'll explore this paradise by ATV vehicle, allowing us to get off the beaten track and really experience the best this island has to offer! This is the island that you've probably never heard of but we guarantee you'll never forget.

Situated in beautiful Adamas, just moments from the beach, Santa Maria Village is the perfect spot to enjoy Milos' laid back way of life. The resort features a large swimming pool with adjacent pool bar serving drinks and snacks throughout the day and evening. The hotel also has a spa offering a range of therapeutic treatments.
The boutique resort offers 37 bungalow-style rooms housed in various 2-storey buildings set in three acres of gardens containing olive and fruit trees. Rooms are light and airey, and possess AC, TV, fridge, WiFi, hairdryer, tea-making equipment, a nice modern shower room and a balcony or terrace with garden, sea or pool views.

If you approach Santorini from the water, it's hard not to be awed by the sheer cliffs that soar above a turquoise sea, by the fact that you're sailing in an immense crater of a drowned volcano and that before you lies an island shaped-by an ancient eruption cataclysmic beyond imagining.
High above, the main villages of Fira and Oia are a snow-drift of white Cycladic houses that line the cliff tops and spill like icy cornices down the terraced rock. And then there are the sunsets, with crowds breaking into applause as the sun disappears below the horizon.

Our days here will be spent making sure we discover why Santorini is one of the most famous islands in the world! It all begins as we arrive into Thira port, and travel up to the top of Imerovigli hill to our accommodation overlooking the majestic island and Aegean Sea. With postcard-worthy vistas, secluded beaches, sunsets to die for, wineries galore, hot springs, water activities, and more, there are plenty of reasons to fall in love with Santorini.

Just 20 yards from the famous Caldera-volcano-and-sunset viewpoint in Fira, Loizos Apartments offers accommodation coupled with pool facilities, close to the centre of Fira.
All comfortable and renovated studios have en-suite bathroom with toiletries, and balcony or access to the courtyard, some with sea views. Each is air conditioned and further equipped with fridge, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.
A breakfast room with large balcony and open horizon view is the best way to start the day. Stone-paved surfaces around the hotel lead the way to the swimming pool and its furnished sun terrace.
The picturesque Fira Town with its charming cafes and variety of restaurants, art galleries and local shops is within walking distance from the hotel. A local supermarket, the bus and taxi terminal, banks and museums, the local bookshop and the post office are close by.

Mykonos is the great glamour island of Greece and flaunts its sizzling St-Tropez-meets-Ibiza style and party-hard reputation. The high-season mix of hedonistic holidaymakers, cruise-ship crowds, buff gay men and posturing fashionistas throngs Mykonos Town (aka Hora), a gorgeous whitewashed Cycladic maze, delighting in its cubist charms and its chichi cafe-bar-boutique scene.
Mykonos is known as the Greek party island – but it’s much more than that, and one of our absolute favourite places to go in Greece. Part of the Cycladic island chain, Mykonos is famous for its wonderful beaches, boutique shopping, charming whitewashed buildings, luxury hotels, and vibrant beach clubs and nightlife – but the club scene is easy to avoid if you’d rather focus on the beaches, shopping, and great restaurants.

A bittersweet departure from Santorini is made a bit sweeter once we arrive in the famously gay island of Mykonos. This island, however is more than just bars and gay beaches, it's also narrow white-washed streets you'll want to get lost in, it's the hole-in-the-wall piano and jazz bars where people mingle from all over the world, and it's the ruins of a past civilization that has thrived in this area for thousands of years.
Our trip finishes here on Greece's most cosmopolitan island on the 11th day. But rest assured, after these 11 days in Greece, it probably won't be your last visit. All travellers are welcome to book their flights departing from Mykonos (airport code JMK) at any time on the 11th day.
