I am delighted to present you with your updated Lapland adventure for October 2025. Get ready for 4 nights in stunning Finnish Lapland, staying at the amazing Apukka Resort, in the heart of Rovaniemi, Finland.
As per your 2024 quote, you will be staying in three of the iconic Komsio Glass Igloo Suites, which will allow you to gaze at the stars and the stunning northern lights without even having to leave your bed! I have also upgraded all of you to half board throughout your stay, so most of your meals will be taken care of.
I have removed the Reindeer Sleigh Ride and Ice Fishing Tour for you, and am so excited for the 6 of you to experience the Aurora Snowtrain Northern Lights Adventure and Husky Safari!

These tastefully decorated and meticulously constructed rooms, deliver a cozy yet luxurious accommodation with themes and inspiration drawn upon from the ancient culture of Lapland.
A spacious main sitting area welcomes you, as you enter your home away from home; complete with comfortable seating and a spectacular view of the stunning, Lappish landscape. Conveniently located on the first level, the bathroom with shower is equipped with premium fixtures to cater to your needs.
Climb up to the second level and you’ll see where the Komsio Suite receives its namesake, as you’re greeted by a nest-like bed that resembles a traditional Sámi child’s cradle. You will cross the beautiful snowy landscape to reach a traditional Lappish “Kota”: a hut deep in the wilderness. Gather around the blazing bonfire to enjoy light snacks and hot drinks. Your expert guide will help you with camera settings to best capture the Northern Lights.
This excursion is completely focused on the Northern Lights, but you also get to experience the beauty of the pure, snowy forest, darkness, and silence. As the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, nobody can give a 100% guarantee to see them, but this trip presents an excellent chance!

Husky Safari
Husky Safari
After breakfast, you will enjoy a fabulous hour or two with a fantastic Husky Safari! Husky safaris are a ‘must do’ experience when visiting Lapland.
You will be taught how to handle the sled before you head out for the husky safari, where the huskies will pull your sled through the beautiful winter scenery.
Enjoy the excitement of the dogs before the start, and the serene silence once they get to do what they love – run in the snowy scenery. You will have lunch before or after the activity, and the musher will also show you around the husky farm.
All husky safaris are based on two people sharing a sled unless otherwise stated.
