About your itinerary

? Don't forget that if something isn't quite right we can make changes to the itinerary.

I am delighted and extremely excited to present you with your updated incredible family vacation to Zimbabwe and South Africa.

I have made the following changes to the itinerary:
  • Removed the Leopard Hill Lodge
  • Included the amazing Kapama Buffalo Camp
  • I have changed the tours in Cape Town to Small group tours.
I am pleased to say that these changes do bring us very close to the amount that we spoke about today while still giving you the perfect getaway to Zimbabwe and South Africa.
I truly think that each element will bring something so special to your family trip giving you the adventure and experiences to last a lifetime.
We can of course look at reducing this further but this would involve having 5 nights in Victoria Falls and only having 2 nights in the lodge in Zimbabwe. I do think the way the itinerary currently is gives you the overall best experience and I am happy that the cost has come down more in line with where you are thinking.
I am going to be out of the office from today until Friday, but I will be working the entire weekend. I would love the opportunity to speak with you and talk through the itinerary and hopefully get your adventure in the diary for December this year.

South Africa's fertile valleys are renowned for their white and red wines, as well as their picturesque landscapes and sprawling estates. Our drive today will take us through the country's main wine routes of Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Franschhoek.
Along the way, we will stop for lunch (not included) and visit local vineyards for wine tastings. Our day begins in Paarl, where you will be captivated by the beauty of the valley, vineyards, and the Pearl of Paarl. This town gained international attention when President Mandela was released from the nearby Groot Drakenstein prison, marking the start of a new era for South Africa.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a wine-tasting and cellar tour at one of the local estates. Continuing our journey, we head northwest to the charming village of Franschhoek, founded by French immigrants in 1688. A memorial in the town commemorates these early settlers who played a significant role in developing wines that were sought after by notable figures such as Napoleon and Bismarck. Here, guests will have lunch (not included) and another wine tasting at a local vineyard.
Our final stop is Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa and the heart of the country's wine region. Recognized for its fertile land, Dutch East India Company governor Simon van der Stel established vineyards in this valley in 1679. Stellenbosch showcases a blend of Cape Dutch, Georgian, and Victorian architecture, with Dorp Street being a prime example. Before returning to Cape Town, guests will enjoy a final wine tasting in Stellenbosch.
