Welcome to Cape Town!
A coming-together of cultures, cuisines and landscapes, there's nowhere quite like Cape Town, a singularly beautiful city crowned by the magnificent Table Mountain National Park.
When it comes to magnificent scenery – Cape Town and the surrounding province of the Western Cape never fails to deliver. With such a varying landscape – found in very few other places across the globe – Cape Town offers forests, beaches, gardens, mountains, oceans, grasslands, nature reserves as well as one of the most unique floral biomes in the world – fynbos.
From day adventures, to waterfront cocktails, to fabulous shopping and friendly faces, Cape Town really has it all!

Upon arrival at Cape Town's Airport, you will be greeted by a representative in the Arrivals Hall who will be holding a board with your name on it. This is the ideal time for you to ask any questions you may have about your holiday. You will then be directed to your private chauffeur who will take you into the centre of town, where you will enjoy a stay at the stunning Kloof Street Hotel for five nights.

Excursion Half-Day Cape Town City Tour & Table Mountain
This morning after breakfast, you will be greeted by one of our friendly driver guides who will invite you for a lovely half-day experience exploring Cape Town!
Your drive to the city center takes you past famous landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope built in 1666 by the Dutch East India Company and City Hall, a baroque building and the Grand Parade. As we follow the citys main thoroughfare, Adderley Street, we will see St. Georges Cathedral, the Anglican Diocese of Nobel Peace Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
You will pass the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter, also known as the Bo-Kaap which means, Above Cape, because of its location up against the slopes of Table Mountain. In the early 18th century, thousands of slaves from Java, Ceylon and other Far Eastern regions were brought to Cape Town.
After slavery was abolished, their descendants, known as the Cape Malays, settled here. Continue to join a sparkling tour, witness the art of diamond cutting and the careful craftsmanship of jewellery manufacturing by skilled experts. Discover the history of the Diamond and Gold Trade in South Africa. You will be offered the option of continuing to Table Mountain, where you can ascend to the top, weather permitting by the revolving cable car.
Here, you will see wildflowers and the famous silver tree, and marvel at a birds-eye view of the city and its beaches. On a clear day it is even possible to see Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned on one side and Cape Point on the other.
After a lovely 3hr tour, you will be taken back to your hotel for the rest of the day at leisure.

Today's discovery, by exploring Cape Town and its surrounding areas!
Bring your camera; you are headed for Cape Point at the southwestern tip of the Cape Peninsula, and the most spectacular views in the world. The drive there is just as inspiring, passing steep mountains' secluded coves and sweeping beaches, as well as villages and fishing communities.
Your tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast, passing through the cosmopolitan suburbs of Sea Point and Camps Bay with its glorious views of the Twelve Apostles, part of the Table Mountain range. You'll continue to the fishing village of Hout Bay, one of Cape Town's best-kept secrets. Here there is an option to take a short boat trip to Duiker Island (for your own account & time permitting) to view the Cape Fur Seals, which inhabit the island. From here you will travel to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, comprising over 17,300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora.
Here you can see a variety of wildlife that includes baboons, Reebok,
Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok and the elusive eland. The reserve is also one of the world's largest breeding grounds for tortoises. Bird-watchers, too, will find many fine species to observe. The majestic coastline offers drama worthy of being called "Nature's Greatest
Show." You'll be able to see the union of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans (as per legend), and may even feel the brisk wind that is dubbed the "Cape Doctor" for its presumed curative powers. Following the coastline along False Bay, we'll return to Cape Town by way of Simon's Town, where you will visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach (entrance fee for own account) and Fish Hoek fishing village.
Before our return, you'll stop for afternoon tea & cake and a visit to Rhodes Memorial, situated on the slopes of Table Mountain offering spectacular views across the city. You will return to Cape Town, passing the University of Cape Town and the Groote Schuur Hospital before being dropped back at your hotel.

Text The Spotlights of Cape Town
I know you are both lovers of all things theatrical, so this section is just for you! Cape Town’s vibrant performing arts scene is a theatre lover's dream, with performances across a myriad of genres at playhouses across the city. From Shakespeare under the stars to spectacular opera, thought-provoking drama and hilarious comedy, the stages of the mother city offer something for everyone.
Cape Town’s premier performing arts venue is the magnificent Artscape theatre complex. It features four theatres that play host to everything from large-scale operas and internationally renowned ballet performances to popular musicals.
The Baxter Theatre in Rondebosch has played an important part in South Africa’s rich performing arts history, defying censorship during the Apartheid years by putting on sharp-edged, multi-racial performances. Today the Baxter continues this legacy by playing host to cutting-edge local and international productions, including drama, ballet, music, and comedy.
The Theatre at the Bay | https://www.pietertoerien.co.za/
On the other side of the Mountain Pieter Toerien’s Theatre on the Bay serves up great food and great theatre. Just off Camps Bay’s main strip, it offers audiences an array of both local and international dramas, comedies, dance, cabaret, pantomimes and musicals.
Maynardville Open Air Theatre | https://maynardville.co.za/
Shakespeare’s Cape Town home is the Maynardville Open Air Theatre which hosts the Artscape’s annual Shakespeare-in-the-Park sessions, where you can enjoy professional Shakespeare productions under the stars. The theatre is located in Maynardville Park in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs.
The Fugard Theatre | https://www.thefugard.com/
Named after world-famous South African playwright Athol Fugard and located in historical District Six, the Fugard Theatre is one of Cape Town’s most beloved theatres. Featuring two intimate theatres and a bioscope, it has hosted a number of celebrated local and international performances, including The Rocky Horror Show and Waiting for Godot.

Welcome to Victoria Falls

Text Welcome to Victoria Falls
Taking its place alongside the Pyramids and the Serengeti, Victoria Falls (its original, pre-colonial name is Mosi-oa-Tunya – the ‘smoke that thunders’) is one of Africa’s original blockbusters. And although Zimbabwe and Zambia share it, Victoria Falls is a place all of its own.
As a magnet for tourists of all descriptions – backpackers, tour groups, thrill seekers, families, honeymooners – Victoria Falls is one of Earth’s great spectacles. View it directly as a raging mile-long curtain of water, in all its glory, from a helicopter ride or peek precariously over its edge from Devil's Pools; the sheer power and force of the falls is something that simply does not disappoint.
Whether you’re here purely to take in the sight of a natural wonder of the world, or for a serious hit of adrenalin via rafting or bungee jumping into the Zambezi, Victoria Falls is a place where you're sure to tick off numerous items from that bucket list.
