About your itinerary

? Don't forget that if something isn't quite right we can make changes to the itinerary.
I am incredibly excited to present you with your bucket-list trip to Iceland, giving you the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Reykjavik (Europe's northmost), visit and stay at the world-famous Blue Lagoon Retreat, and finish with a few nights in a spectacular glass lodge. This is Iceland at her best.
You'll start with three nights in the heart of Reykjavik, staying at one of my favourite city hotels, the CenterHotels Thingholt. This property is perfectly located to enjoy the city's top sites, dining and nightlife. I've included an array of personal recommendations to make the most of your time, but I'd be happy to add a private tour if you'd like to maximise your time.
This is where your itinerary gets SUPER exciting. I've included 2 nights at the world-renowned Retreat Blue Lagoon, the country's top property that's located right on the Blue Lagoon. I've included a dreamy Lava View Room with full access to the spa and lagoons. These 2 nights are all about geothermal relaxation, pampering, amazing food and rejuvenation after a tough year.
You'll then spend drive to Hella, where you'll spend your final 2 nights at the bucket-list Panoramic Glass Lodge. Your lodge comes complete with a glass ceiling above the bed (perfect to view the Northern Lights), as well as a private hot tub overlooking the mountains and glaciers. As before, I've included a whole host of exciting ways to spend your time.
I am super excited to catch up and hear your thoughts. I'll call you this afternoon to talk everything through.

Located on a quiet side street not far from Reykjavik‘s main shopping street (Laugavegur), CenterHotel Thingholt is well placed for pretty much all of the city’s main sights, as well as its copious shopping, dining and drinking options.
The glittering Harpa concert hall is a seven-minute walk, and you can reach the peaceful Tjornin lake in six minutes on foot.
Perhaps the most stylish of CenterHotels’ six Reykjavik hotels, the Thingholt occupies a former 1940s printing factory and has an interior designed by Icelandic architect Gulla Jonsdottir, who has experience in Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Her playful, chic vision includes a distinctive wood-heavy reception, sculpture installations and black leather walls.

Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, is a charming city with a unique blend of natural beauty and urban culture. Here's my suggested itinerary for a day in Reykjavik:
Hallgrímskirkja:
Start your day by visiting the iconic Hallgrímskirkja, the largest church in Iceland. Take an elevator to the top for panoramic views of the city.
Breakfast in a Café:
Head to a local café for a traditional Icelandic breakfast. Try skyr (Icelandic yogurt), rúgbrauð (dense, dark rye bread), and maybe some smoked fish.
Explore Downtown Reykjavik:
Take a stroll through the downtown area. Explore the colorful streets, check out local shops, and enjoy the street art. Don't miss the Sun Voyager sculpture along the waterfront.
Harpa Concert Hall:
Visit Harpa, Reykjavik's stunning concert hall and conference center. The building's architecture is impressive, and you can often find events or exhibitions taking place.
Lunch at a Local Restaurant:
Try Icelandic cuisine at a local restaurant. Dishes like lamb soup, Icelandic fish stew, or a hearty rye bread sandwich can be delightful.
National Museum of Iceland:
Learn about Iceland's history and culture at the National Museum. The exhibits cover everything from Viking history to modern Icelandic culture.
Perlan (The Pearl):
Head to Perlan, a unique glass dome structure that offers a 360-degree view of Reykjavik. There's a viewing deck, a restaurant, and a museum showcasing Iceland's natural wonders.

Dinner in the Old Harbor:
Explore the Old Harbor area, known for its seafood restaurants. Enjoy a delicious dinner with fresh Icelandic seafood while overlooking the harbor.

Bars and Nightlife:
Experience Reykjavik's vibrant nightlife. Check out the local bars, pubs, and live music venues. The city comes alive at night, especially during the weekends.

After a day to explore, tonight is all about relaxation, rejuvenation and stunning ocean views. Nestled on a stark, stunning coastline, Sky Lagoon feels a world away from everyday life.
Iceland’s newest geothermal lagoon honours the centuries-old bathing culture, embracing the warmth of a people tied closely to the sea, sky and the power locked deep within the land. For centuries, Icelanders have trusted the calming, healing effects of geothermal water to help make them one of the happiest people on earth. Their 7-step rejuvenating Sky Ritual brings this culture to life for every guest and is included in the Sky Lagoon experience.
Head down from your hotel to the meeting location where your shuttle bus will be waiting to take you to the Sky Lagoon, just minutes from downtown Reykjavik. Upon arrival, you will embark on a world of warmth and wonder together.
Included in your experience, you can enjoy not only the 7 steps but also private changing room facilities with Sky Lagoon's signature amenities. If you are lucky, catch the sunset or golden hour during your light and warm swim in the geothermal waters, bliss.

Text The Blue Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland's most popular attractions, and it's little wonder as to why. The beautiful milky-blue water is unlike anything else found on earth and makes a stark contrast to the surrounding black lava fields and creeping grey moss. The water sits at 39°C (102°F) year-round, making it the perfect bathing temperature.
The lagoon is on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwest Iceland, a region renowned for its barren landscapes and cone-shaped volcanoes – a truly once in a lifetime landscape to enjoy many hours of pleasure in this vast geothermal space. Various perks depending on the tickets you get include cleansing algae masks, one free drink from the in-water bar, and warmth from the sauna and steam rooms. If you're feeling ultra boujee, you can also discover the extraordinary pleasures of their in-water massage! Relaxing. Rejuvenating. Unforgettable.
