About your itinerary

? Don't forget that if something isn't quite right we can make changes to the itinerary.
It was a pleasure to speak to you last week regarding your travel plans to frame your Brand G adventure!
I am therefore delighted to present you with this incredible adventure which takes in Paris, Oslo, your Brand G cruise and New York.
Your international flights from Palm Springs are all included in your trip, as well as your connection from Paris to Oslo and the train to Bergen.
I have worked on all of the elements we discussed on our call, including a hotel in the Marais with a walk-in shower, a gorgeous property in Oslo that puts you in the heart of the city and a fantastic option in New York, which puts you between Times Square and broadway.
Knowing you both know Paris and New York well, I have been sure to add some off-the-beaten-track recommendations, and a walking tour of Olso which will have you feeling like you know the city by the time you leave!
I am so excited to hear your thoughts on what I have put together for you.
Best travels,

Text Welcome to Paris
Paris lives up to its hype: A city with unbelievable food and culture, plus stunning views everywhere you turn. With 18 arrondissements, it’s a lot to see in one trip, but each neighbourhood has a personality all its own.
You can’t miss the iconic 7th, where art and history meet—there’s the Eiffel Tower, sure, but the impressive Musée du quai Branly is just a short walk away. It houses an amazing collection of indigenous art. Or, hit up Montmartre (the 18th), with its boho shops and cosy brasseries. It’s a must-stop on the way up or down from Sacre Coeur.
While the French practically invented fine dining, don’t skip the street food—Paris has world-class kebabs and falafel. But no matter where you are, be sure to pop into a sidewalk cafe, sip a glass of wine, and people watch—it’s the way to get a taste of true Parisian culture.

Accommodation Hotel Bastille Spéria for 5 nights
Nestling in the quiet Rue de la Bastille, the Bastille Spéria is a top of the range three star hotel and the ideal place for anyone wanting to stay in the heart of a dynamic and creative part of Paris. With the famous place de la Bastille within sight, the establishment is located at the crossroads of the historic Marais district – which came into being more than a thousand years ago – and a suburb which was once industrial and is now the place to be. With its gaily coloured atmosphere, the past and the future mingle to delight visitors who are interested in art and culture, not to mention shopping!
Very close to well-known names such as Lenôtre and Bofinger, but also not far from the Opéra Bastille, the Bastille Spéria hotel receives its guests in a contemporary décor, to which the indirect lighting and bouquets of flowers here and there give a warm atmosphere. On either side of the reception desk are two charming little lounge areas where you can have conversations, read or relax and, at the back, the breakfast room with daylight filtering through the glass roof. Then, looking out onto the street or the courtyard, are the hotel's 42 pleasant and comfortable bedrooms, spread over six floors. Beautifully situated, the Bastille Spéria therefore has everything for a good value pied-à-terre.

The Thief

The Thief for 3 nights

Accommodation The Thief for 3 nights
With its glass, granite and gold design, The Thief is the jewel in the crown of Norwegian boutique hotels. With its quirky yet sophisticated mix of furnishings and contemporary art, including pieces by Damien Hirst and the Queen of Norway, it fulfils its mission to “steal you away from everyday life.
The Thief fits in harmoniously with the surrounding modern buildings on Tjuvholmen ('Thief') Island, so called because it was once an execution ground for thieves. Designed by Mellbye Architects AS, the curved, nine-storey hotel offers large views of the island’s canals, the Oslofjord and a mix of flats, offices and art galleries which characterise the car-free Tjuvholmen. The Renzo Piano-designed Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art is close by, as is the Aker Brygge harbour. The city centre is a 15-minute walk away.
No Scandinavian minimalism at The Thief. On the contrary, the work of interior designer Anemone Wille Våge, combined with curator Sune Nordgren’s acquisitions, results in a quirky yet sophisticated mix of furnishings and contemporary art. A Damien Hirst painting welcomes guests at the Foodbar, while photos by the Queen of Norway hang beside works by Sir Peter Blake, Jeff Koons and Richard Price.
At The Thief Foodbar, British chef David Taylor gives priority to locally sourced ingredients, especially seafood. The concept has changed from the previous Fru K. restaurant: small, large and sweet plates have replaced traditional set menus so guests can create their own meal.

To know "The City" like a local might still be the greatest badge of honor for travelers. But take a breath: you won't be able to cover the countless museums, galleries, restaurants, watering holes—and, yes, $1 pizza slices—all in one visit, but that's the good news. Now that the outer boroughs draw as much attention as Manhattan, it makes repeated trips not only possible, but essential.

These are some top tips for things to do in New York that are a little off the beaten track:
