This morning after settling into the city the day before, you will be ready to take an incredible trip out of Melbourne to the amazing Great Ocean Road. As this is your very own private tour, you can enjoy the luxury of hotel pick-up in the morning before your adventure.
With every twist and turn of this iconic southern road, stunning panoramas unfold. Breathe the sea air, snap a photo and relax as we follow isolated beaches and pounding surf through seaside villages, coastal heath and dense rainforest to stop in awe at the Twelve Apostles.
Carved into the cliffs of the south west coast, the Great Ocean Road is one of Australia’s great road trips and a ‘must do’ for any visitor to Victoria. With every bend in the road, ocean and mountain vistas appear. But it is not all pleasure and beauty. This coastline is also known as the Shipwreck Coast. Hundreds of ships have come to grief along this stretch of water and you will be told vivid stories by your expert guide to prove so! You can expect to experience and enjoy the following.
Coastal Towns
The road winds through several coastal villages, each distinctive and unique. Our first is Torquay, home to world famous surf championships held at Bells Beach. Keep a look out— you’ll likely see kangaroos. We’ll lunch in Apollo Bay where you can sample locally caught seafood.
Otway Rainforest
A highlight of the tour is travelling through the Great Otway National Park, a dense temperate rainforest of fern gullies and plunging waterfalls presided over by the world’s tallest flowering plant, the Mountain Ash. We will go koala spotting—they are common throughout the Otways. One of our short walks will be to Triple Falls, a series of tumbling waterfalls set within the dramatic Otway rainforest.
Loch Ard Gorge
Here you will learn the story of the Loch Ard shipwreck in 1878 and the amazing survival of passenger, Eva and apprentice sailor Tom, both 18 years of age.
The Twelve Apostles
A major attraction on the western side of Cape Otway are these mighty limestone monoliths, that have been standing and weathering for abut 10–20 million years. Little by little the ocean is reclaiming the Twelve Apostles (one crumbled in 2005). You will also enjoy a secret location for amazing kangaroo spotting!
After an incredible day together, you will make your way back to Melbourne where your driver will drop you off at your hotel for an evening of leisure.

Sophisticated, cultured, neat-casual − the self-image Adelaide projects is a nod to the days of free colonisation. Adelaidians may remind you of their convict-free status – and of the Kaurna Aboriginal heritage of this land – but the stuffy, affluent origins of the 'City of Churches' did more to inhibit development than promote it.

After a night to settle in, today is all about exploring Uluru & Kata Tjuta. Departing the resort, the tour will travel through the landscapes to the entrance of the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. From this point, it is only a matter of minutes before the spectra of Uluru rises from the sand dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in
this country.
Your first step allows you a photographic opportunity of this amazing icon. With Uluru looming in front of you, you journey toward the base. Walk with your guide to a place of tranquility. The closer you wander the more you surrender to the realisation of the sheer size of this monolith.
As you drive around the base, your guide will take you to the entrance of Mutitjulu Waterhole, a semi-permanent watercourse nestled in the contours of Uluru. Here you will learn the Creation stories of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (python) as well as a number of other stories associated with other prominent Tjukurpa (Dreaming) stories.
You will see the rock art of the ancients and learn how Uluru was, and still is, a significant location for teaching young Aboriginal people. You then adjourn to the new Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area where you will observe an uninterrupted view of Uluru with Kata Tjuta in the background.
In the afternoon, you will then travel through the landscape to the entrance of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. From there is it a 40km journey through the desert landscape to the mighty rock formation. On arrival at the viewing area you walk to the best vantage point to see the 36 domes that comprise this spiritual place while watching the sun’s morning glow as the desert comes alive.
You will make your way to the western side of Kata Tjuta where you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy an outback picnic.Following your picnic, it will be the end of your day. Your guide and driver will take you back to your hotel with your small-group, ready for an evening of leisure.

This morning after a day of self-exploration, you will be in for an amazing adventure, heading out to the infamous Blue Mountains. Your guide and driver will collect you from your hotel to begin your fab discovery.
After leaving the city behind your first stop of the day is at Calmsley Hill a working farm also home to Kangaroos, Emus, Wombats and Koalas. Enjoy morning tea and time to wander at leisure.
From Calmsley Hill you will continue to ascend the Blue Mountains via the highway. You will visit one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley seeing beautiful vistas. Where possible this will be away from the crowds of tours that visit the mountains each
day with other operators, thus you will enjoy a stress and hurry-free environment taking in the views and information imparted by your guide.
Continuing on you arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout points away from the crowds for views of the famous 3 Sisters. Whilst the Blue Mountains feature so much more than this natural attraction you can’t help but admire the unquestionable beauty of this amazing rock formation. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day and throughout the seasons as the sunlight brings out magnificent colours. Here your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation and the time available for you to take some great photos.
You then make our way around the mountain towards the village of Blackheath and our lunch venue the Hydro Majestic. Here in this relaxed venue with stunning views. You will enjoy a 2-course lunch. All diets are catered for (excluding Kosher Meals). Beverages can be purchased at your own expense from the Bar.
The afternoon is spent visiting a selection of lookouts. Once you clap your eyes on the view from Govetts Leap you’ll know why it’s one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. If you’re not
mesmerised by the dancing waves of water spray, you’ll be transfixed by the sweeping views down the valley to the Grose Wilderness. You then stop briefly to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice at the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic before making your way back to Sydney after a memorable day out!
