About your itinerary

? Don't forget that if something isn't quite right we can make changes to the itinerary.
Dear Jason,
Welcome to Greece
With the current situation in Isreal, we have had to look into an alternative destination for your big birthday celebrations. I know that you have been to Greece before and had a fantastic time and I hope that this itinerary is just what you are looking for as a fabulous alternative for you and your friends.
I have included 2 nights at the perfectly located Ergon House in upgraded Medium-sized rooms. Ergon House is perfectly located to enjoy the stunning sights that Athens has to offer as well as the nightlife. With its charming rooftop bar, it is the perfect place for everyone to meet in the evening before heading out for the evening.
In Mykonos, you'll enjoy the beautiful Leno Villas, I have included an 8-bedroom villa for you at the moment but if we do have more people joining then we can look at getting another villa on the same complex for you all.
When in Athens, I have included a tour with one of our incredible LGBTQ+ friendly guides, and in Mykonos a private boat trip into the Caldera just for you and your group.
I'm looking forward to catching up next week! Anything you need in the meantime, please feel free to reach out.
Have a great weekend!
Best wishes,
Samantha McCormack

Text Welcome to Athens
With equal measures of grunge and grace, Athens is a heady mix of ancient history and contemporary cool.
The magnificent Acropolis, visible from almost every part of the city, is the hub around which Athens still revolves. This temple city, built in the 5th century BC, serves as a daily reminder to Greeks of their heritage and the city's many transformations. All over the urban basin, rooftops and balconies angle toward the landmark, a block of milky marble atop a steep-sided hill. Pull up your own chair, settle in and allow time to appreciate the Acropolis' many moods, as the light shifts and the clouds cast their shifting shadows.
The cultural and social life of Athens plays out amid, around and in landmarks that are centuries old, if not millennia. The remnants of Ancient Greece get the most attention, of course, thanks to a little thing called democracy. Oh, and mythology, and drama, and philosophy. But don't overlook the 'later' years: thousand-year-old Byzantine churches, for instance, which squat, unruffled in the middle of streets and attached to hillsides. Ottoman traces can be seen in architecture and in food. And the neoclassical style of the 19th century adds elegance all over the centre.
Although Athenians have endured difficult circumstances since the start of the economic crisis in 2009, the city as a whole crackles with energy in art shows, political debates and even on the walls of derelict buildings, as Athens has become one of Europe's most noted spots for street art. Creative surprises lie around nearly every corner, so be sure to leave room in your schedule for spontaneous discovery: buy a ticket to that dance show that's just starting as you walk by, or sit down at the restaurant where the musicians are setting up. You'll be rewarded.

Ergon House for 2 nights

Accommodation Ergon House for 2 nights
Completing this holistic hospitality experience built on the foundations of Greek Food, Ergon House offers contemporary living spaces spread over the floors above the marketplace. All rooms include the hotel's signature breakfast and come in four sizes, with privileged access to communal kitchens and lounges, a gym and a panoramic rooftop terrace.
The spaces are a collaboration with leading local designers and artists – the tribute to Greece ever-present in natural materials, traditional craft and references to the vernacular, paired with a strong contemporary line.
Large, double-glazed windows invite all the spectacle and none of the soundtrack to views of the Parthenon and city, or the buzz of the Agora. Seamless service is a given and we’ve done away with in-room dining because the whole Ergon House experience places food centre stage.
So, while the curated minibar delicatessen should tide you over, the Agora awaits some of the best food in town, or fresh market ingredients with which to make your own magic in one of the dedicated kitchens.
Medium Room with City View

Medium Room with City View

Your room: Medium Room with City View

I have included 8x Medium Rooms.

A touch more spacious, the MEDIUM has views of the urban landscape or the atrium, and its raised four-poster bed, reminiscent of the traditional ‘on trades’ of Pelion, comes in super-king, king or twin sizes.

Natural daylight floods through large double-glazed windows with atrium views, as well as a glass brick feature. Custom mood lights, fittings and furniture are arranged in a contemporary open plan that includes a wireless work area and open closet, loosely screened by breeze blocks used on the Greek islands in the ‘60s that add a touch of retro chic.

Walnut parquets transition to grey marble in the wet areas, and patterned tiles are inspired by medieval ‘xysta’ motifs found on the island of Chios. Beautiful basins, hand-carved from reclaimed marble treads, provide a pleasing contrast to sleek brushed brass fixtures in a bathroom stocked with natural products that are custom-made for Ergon House.

Text Exploring Mykonos Town
The Town of Mykonos, called Chora by the locals, is a traditional Cycladic village built around a bay. It has whitewashed cubic houses with wooden doors, windows, and balconies painted in bright colors, narrow streets forming a labyrinth, beautiful churches, lovely chapels, and purple bougainvilleas contrasting with the bright white of the buildings' walls.
Numerous cafes, chic boutiques, souvenir shops, and fine jewelry shops lie in the beautiful capital. The picturesque Town also boasts an excellent food scene worth exploring! For a delicious lunch or dinner, look no further than Mykonos Town – it is home to some of the top restaurants in Greece.
