About your itinerary

? Don't forget that if something isn't quite right we can make changes to the itinerary.
Thank you for texting this morning with those slight updates! I have amended your honeymoon getaway so you now fly out of Charlotte on American Airlines on the 26th June, landing you into Bali on the 28th June.
I have also added one extra night in Ubud so you now have three nights, with the other three nights staying in Uluwatu right on the beach.
As promised, I have had a look at upgrading to business class and it would be possible for an additional $8,669.00 per person
I will keep an eye on the availability for both your hotels as whilst I know you haven't quite decided on whether to use your points or not, the accommodation is already looking low for your upgraded Pool Rooms so I have asked my contacts to let me know if it gets urgent.
Excited to touch base as planned later this week!
Best travels,

Welcome to Bali

Text Welcome to Bali
Welcome to Bali!
The mere mention of Bali evokes thoughts of a paradise. It's more than a place; it's a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind.
The rich and diverse culture of Bali plays out at all levels of life, from the exquisite flower-petal offerings placed everywhere, to the processions of joyfully garbed locals shutting down major roads as they march to one of the myriad temple ceremonies, to the otherworldly traditional music and dance performed island-wide. Almost everything has spiritual meaning. The middle of Bali is dominated by the dramatic volcanoes of the central mountains and hillside temples such as Pura Luhur Batukau (one of the island's estimated 10,000 temples), while the tallest peak, Gunung Agung, is the island's spiritual centre.
At the end of the day (which is the start of the day for some visitors), Bali's rich culture and many amazing sights are what takes Bali's sheer delight to another level. Because Bali is fun, no matter what you want or who you are. Seminyak has shops and designers, Kerobokan has luxe beachside resorts and superb eating, Kuta and Legian have the nightlife, and Canggu wraps it all into one irresistible package. Plunge deep into Bali's spirit while renewing your own in Ubud or catching the perfect wave in Bingin. You name it, it's here.

While in Ubud, you'll have the opportunity to explore at your leisure. I have included some amazing suggestions for you to have a look at:
Rice Paddy Walks
Rice Paddy walks are a really magical way to explore the true Balinese way of life. Journey with a friendly tour guide either from the hotel or privately to the surrounding village and rice paddy near the resort as he explains the traditions of Balinese farming.
Visit Ubud Market
Ubud Market (or Pasar Seni Ubud) is a great place to buy Balinese souvenirs for your friends and family. If you’re in need of a sarong to visit the temples then this is your best bet too. Here you can buy shell bracelets and necklaces, round straw bags, crochet crop tops, pineapple-shaped wooden bowls and other quirky and aesthetic home decor items. If you’re an early bird then you can also pop by in the early morning to visit the food and fruit market in the same spot. It’s open from 4am – 8am and this is when you’ll find the locals shopping for fresh fruit and veg.
See Balinese Monkeys at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
If you want to get up close and personal with some Balinese monkeys then you need to visit Ubud Monkey Forest. There are over 1000 monkeys here (yes, really!) and their sanctuary is just a ten-minute walk out of the centre of Ubud. You’ll see monkeys of all sizes here from tiny baby monkies to the much larger, older and wiser monkeys. These guys will look on sagely from the top of the trees or sit languidly on the pillars and bridges you’ll come across.
These monkeys are so used to humans being around that they won’t hesitate to hop right up on your shoulders, have a root through your bag for food or try to grab your watch off your wrist. It’s also worth remembering that these are wild monkeys and therefore you shouldn’t provoke them or attempt to touch them without them first approaching you. Safety first!
Campuhan Ridge Walk
Ubud is a busy and bustling town but it’s surrounded by natural beauty. To escape from the honking cars and crowded sidewalks, do the Campuhan Ridge Walk. It’s a man-made stone path that takes you atop a hill, through trees and long grass.
From this vantage point, you’ll get an amazing view of the scenery all around you and see vast stretches of green. It’s a breathtaking sight and there are the calming sounds of water flowing down in the depths of the hill too. The path is just over one km long so you should factor in an hour or so for a return walk at a normal walking pace.
The track doesn’t loop around so when you reach the end you need to turn back on yourself and walk back the same way. This means you can make the walk as long or as short as you wish.
The walk is suitable for all people as it’s not too hilly or strenuous and you can go as fast or as slow as you want. At the end of the trail, there’s Karsa Kafe, where you can enjoy some refreshments before heading back into town.

Excursion Sangeh Monkey Forest Tour & Tirta Empul | Private
This morning after breakfast, you will be ready to visit The Sangeh Monkey Forest (pronounced Sang – Ay), still a hidden gem. Your driver will greet you at your hotel before driving you to this beautiful Forest for your tour.
Compared to its more famous partner in Ubud this one is much quieter and less crowded. It’s a bit bigger too, with 14 hectares (35 acres) of jungle. These are all reasons why Sangeh has become a favourite spot for locals to do their pre-wedding photo shoots. You can almost always see couples doing traditional Balinese prewedding photos here, which is another neat perk of visiting.
To top it off, the monkeys at Sangeh have better manners than the ones at Ubud. They don’t have ‘human interaction overload’ seven days a week, so they’re much calmer and in essence happier!
After exploring the wonders of this sacred Monkey Forest, your driver will continue your drive to the amazing Tirta Empul Temple, where you will have the opportunity to experience the holy springs surrounding this amazing landmark. The temple considered sacred by the Balinese Hindu community, has several holy springs which are said to have been created by The God Indra and believed to be blessed water that could purify those who bathe there.
You will have the chance on this tour to follow in the footsteps and take the sacred ritual in one of the pools where you will dip your head under the waterspouts in a purification ritual known as melukat. Bathers start in the pool on the left side standing in the pool to the waist under the first water spout. Once you have cleansed yourselves under the first spout you will join the next queue. This process is continued until you have cleansed yourselves under each waterspout. However, there are two spouts that are meant only for cleansing the dead and are prohibited to be used by the living for the melukat ritual.
Behind the purification, pools are the final section of the Tirta Empul Holy Water Temple, called the jeroan. Mostly overlooked by tourists, the jeroan or inner courtyard is a pleasant place where people come to pray. The front part of the courtyard is dominated by the large water spring that feeds the purification pools. The spring is filled with green algae and small fish swim among the reeds. Behind the springs are large Hindu shrines. This part of the temple is nice to quickly explore. The shrines are brightly decorated, which contrasts with the starched white clothing of the Balinese who come here to pray.
After a truly stunning day, you will be invited back into your car and taken to the Maya for one final night.

Text Discover Uluwatu's Beach Clubs
During your time on the alluring Uluwatu coastline, you will discover a world of unrivaled beauty and opulent beach clubs awaits. I have a handful of selected clubs that I definitely would recommend checking out!
Sundays Beach Club
Sundays Beach Club is tucked away at the end of the earth with a heavenly combination of sun, sea, and sand on the itinerary. It is a heady mixture of powder white sand and azure blue seas. In fact, this Bali institution is one of the few beach clubs that is situated right on the shore, allowing you to spend the entire day barefoot. Take the escalator from the top of the cliff down to this secluded enclave for the ultimate beach experience, fueled by premium cocktails and a top-notch meal till the sun sets. Between snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding, graze on delectable seaside-inspired snacks like charcoal-grilled calamari, gourmet pizzas, and fresh-caught seafood, and lose sight of time.
El Kabron Beach Club
El Kabron Beach Club is located in Pecatu, Bali, which has a vantage point that overlooks Dreamland Beach and offers breathtaking views all the way to Uluwatu, is a popular destination for those who know where to find the best places to catch the sunset. The emphasis is truly on late-night smart-casual dining, sunset drinks, and afternoon poolside munching. Make your pals envious with a cheeky Instagram photo taken in their famous infinity pool with the Indian Ocean in the background and, of course, a glass of Sangria.
Single Fin
In Bali's Uluwatu neighborhood, Single Fin is a well-known beach club and surf bar. On a cliff overlooking the well-known Uluwatu surf break, Single Fin offers a laid-back atmosphere, breathtaking views, and a vibrant surf scene. Single Fin's spacious, open-air setting enables visitors to savor the beach breeze while taking in the breathtaking surroundings. The beach club's surf-inspired design gives off a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It contains a number of levels and seating areas, including a terrace on the edge of the cliff, a main bar area, and an upper-level lounge.

This afternoon on your final full day in Bali, you will visit one of Bali’s most iconic Hindu temples! You'll be picked up from your hotel in the afternoon by your local guide and driven to the magnificent temple complex of Uluwatu.
Take in a spectacular sunset from your vantage point overlooking the Indian Ocean. Then, ride over to the rugged hills of the Bukit Peninsula, home to the ancient Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue. The famous monument is one of the tallest statues of a Hindu deity in the world.
Later in the evening, enjoy a traditional Kecak Dance performance by a lotus pond. Watch episodes from the ancient Indian epic, ‘The Ramayana’, reenacted by local dancers.
After the show, head to a restaurant at Jimbaran Bay and enjoy a dinner of delicious Balinese seafood. Savor gorgeous views of the ocean along with your meal before heading back to your hotel.
