I have made the following changes to the itinerary:
- Removed the northern Norway section of the itinerary.
- Removed the Spa in Flam.
- Included a direct flight from Bergen to Iceland.
- Included private transfers on arrival and departure.
- Included Iceland in the itinerary.
For your time in Iceland, you will have 4 beautiful nights in the heart of Reykjavík. I have chosen the Borg hotel as It's in the perfect location for your time in this city. The hotel is beautifully designed with spacious rooms. I know you wanted to make the most of your time in Iceland and I have included a full-day tour exploring the famous Golden Circle of Iceland. This is an absolutely must-do when visiting this country and you really will see so much in one day of exploration. I know you mentioned having a bit down time/relaxation toward the end of your trip so I have left one day completely free to allow you to explore Reykjavík. I have also included the infamous Sky Lagoon on your last full day, allowing you to indulge in the 7 step treatments and the experience of these natural lagoons.

Stirring Landscapes
Impossibly steep-sided Norwegian fjords of extraordinary beauty cut gashes from a jagged coastline deep into the interior. Glaciers, grand and glorious, snake down from ice fields that rank among Europe's largest. Elsewhere, the mountainous terrain of Norway's interior resembles the ramparts of so many natural fortresses, and yields rocky coastal islands that rise improbably from the waters like apparitions. Then, of course, there's the ancient appeal, the spare and staggering beauty of the Arctic. Scandinavian Sophistication
The counterpoint to Norway's ever-present natural beauty is found in its vibrant cultural life. Norwegian cities are cosmopolitan and showcase the famous Scandinavian flair for design through the ages. Bergen, Trondheim, and Ålesund must surely rank among Europe's most photogenic cities, while contemporary Arctic-inspired architectural icons grace towns and remote rural settings alike. Food, too, is a cultural passion through which Norwegians push the boundaries of innovation even as they draw deeply on a heartfelt love of tradition. At the same time, a busy calendar of festivals, many of international renown, is worth planning your trip around.
Wonderful Wildlife
When it comes to wildlife, Norway has few peers in Europe. Here you can watch whales – humpback, sperm, and orca, depending on the season – off Andenes, Stø or Tromsø, while the interior offers up wild reindeer, prehistoric musk oxen, ponderous elk (moose) or beguiling Arctic foxes. Birdwatching, too, is a highlight, from the puffins of Bleik to the migratory seabirds of Runde and Varanger. But the real prizes inhabit Norway's high Arctic, in Svalbard, where polar bears and walruses are the poster species for a wilderness of rare, dramatic, and precarious beauty.

With its glass, granite and gold design, The Thief is the jewel in the crown of Norwegian boutique hotels. With its quirky yet sophisticated mix of furnishings and contemporary art, including pieces by Damien Hirst and the Queen of Norway, it fulfils its mission to “steal you away from everyday life.
The Thief fits in harmoniously with the surrounding modern buildings on Tjuvholmen ('Thief') Island, so called because it was once an execution ground for thieves. Designed by Mellbye Architects AS, the curved, nine-storey hotel offers large views of the island’s canals, the Oslofjord and a mix of flats, offices and art galleries which characterise the car-free Tjuvholmen. The Renzo Piano-designed Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art is close by, as is the Aker Brygge harbour. The city centre is a 15-minute walk away.
No Scandinavian minimalism at The Thief. On the contrary, the work of interior designer Anemone Wille Våge, combined with curator Sune Nordgren’s acquisitions, results in a quirky yet sophisticated mix of furnishings and contemporary art. A Damien Hirst painting welcomes guests at the Foodbar, while photos by the Queen of Norway hang beside works by Sir Peter Blake, Jeff Koons and Richard Price.
At The Thief Foodbar, British chef David Taylor gives priority to locally sourced ingredients, especially seafood. The concept has changed from the previous Fru K. restaurant: small, large and sweet plates have replaced traditional set menus so guests can create their own meal.

Wake up to soothing views of the Oslo archipelago and the beautiful fjord. The stunning sea vistas from a private balcony could make you reluctant to ever leave your room. Should you decide to stay holed up in your little paradise, the staff will be happy, of course, to bring your breakfast to your room.

Day 03 - Oslo to Sognefjord
Day 03 - Oslo to Sognefjord
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
Take a private vehicle with a driver from the hotel to the train station.
Board a train from Oslo C to Myrdal.
Along the way, experience the changing climate as you pass through Finse, the highest station on the line at 1222m. Myrdal is located on the maritime coast of Norway, with a milder and damper climate.
Continue the journey by train from Myrdal to Flåm.
The Flåm Railway is a popular tourist attraction, offering stunning views of rivers, ravines, waterfalls, snow-capped mountains, and mountain farms clinging to steep slopes. The train even makes a photo stop at the beautiful Kjosfossen waterfall.
Stay overnight in a Junior Suite at the renowned Fretheim Hotel in Norway, including dinner.
The Fretheim Hotel, a historical establishment, is conveniently situated in the western region of Norway. It marks the end of the Sognefjord and the beginning of the Flam Railway. Originally a farm, the hotel now occupies the same location, with the old farm house serving as historical rooms.

With the past as a source of inspiration, Fretheim Hotel can offer close encounters with the best of the parish's culture through short-traveled tastes, spectacular views of the fjord and mountains and interiors and furnishings that take you back in time. Located at the terminus of the unique Flåmsbana, and with the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nærøyfjord nearby, the hotel is in the middle of Smørøy for fantastic experiences.
The hotel was built in Swiss style at the end of the 19th century. Over the years, the hotel has been expanded in line with the flow of tourists. The oldest part of the hotel has been restored with beautiful details, with fireplaces and antique furniture both in the living rooms, the library, the corporate rooms and the historic guest rooms. All of the hotel's 122 rooms have great views of the fjord or mountains.

Your Junior Suite is the largest room, with the best location. Your Suite is located at the far end of the newest part of the hotel and you will have either a balcony or a patio facing the fjord. Your Junior Suite has a double bed, a seating area with sofa and lounge chairs, and a dining table. Combined bathtub and shower.

We offer a unique experience with our open RIB boats that can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests.
This allows for a personal and intimate experience as we explore small villages and waterfalls along the way. Our knowledgeable guide will share breathtaking scenery, stories, tales, and history with you. Whether you're with your family, colleagues, or friends, our tour will bring you closer to nature while also allowing you to spot wildlife. Our Fjordsafari tour goes above and beyond, allowing you to experience the entire UNESCO-listed Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord.
On the return trip, we make a stop in the famous goat cheese village of Undredal. Here, you'll have the chance to taste and learn about the award-winning cheese. If you find a favorite, you can even purchase some from the café before we depart. For your safety and comfort, we provide all the necessary gear, including a floatation suit, life vest, hat, gloves, and goggles. We recommend dressing appropriately for the temperature and weather conditions and avoiding open-toed shoes.

During this walk, we will guide you through both the old and new parts of the city. You will have the opportunity to see modern landmarks as well as the charming old wooden town, with its broad streets and narrow alleyways.
Along the way, we will point out notable sights such as the Fortress, St. Mary's Church, the Fish Market, the beautiful City Park, and the Theatre. One highlight of the tour is the old Wharf, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Here, you will learn about the Hanseatic League's operations in Bergen. As we continue, we will pass by statues of famous Norwegians like Henrik Ibsen and Edvard Grieg, providing you with an overview of their fascinating lives and work.
Exploring Bergen on foot allows you to fully immerse yourself in the city's atmosphere. The compact city center is filled with attractions, and we will take our time to stroll and share the city's highlights and colorful history with you.
