About your itinerary

? Don't forget that if something isn't quite right we can make changes to the itinerary.
Thank you so much for dropping me an email with your feedback following your itinerary full of fabulous tours to compliment your European adventure with your boys.
I am happy to enclose your revised itinerary, with your Normandy tour removed and adding in a lovely Brussels Tour instead with some delicious chocolate tasting to match. I have also added in a private foodie tour in Paris in the iconic district of Le Marais which is also child-friendly to ensure an inclusive and special experience.
We are just under the $6K (I know I had roughly estimated 5-5.5k) so do let me know if this is still too much of a stretch and I can always leave something out for you to do self-guided.
You will notice we have had a lovely upgrade over the last couple of days since you had your last itinerary, so you will see that you have your deposit link already included to go for if you are ready to confirm. Please note that the deposit is slightly higher as I will need to confirm your Eurostar trains right away.
If you are also happy to send through your boy's full names & DOBs that would be great. Thank you so much guys and excited to continue our lovely partnership this year!
Best travels,
Maria Gardner

I know you guys mentioned that you may wish to opt for the Blue Lagoon for your first day – it is great to shake off the jetlag, however the Blue Lagoon is close to the Airport and I wonder whether it would be more fun to consider a Golden Circle Tour, with the opportunity to relax in a Secret Lagoon halfway round.
From the Airport, follow the Reykjanesbraut/Route 41 towards the Golden Circle, steeped in history, and folklore and surrounded by amazing geology where it stands between the North American & Eurasian tectonic plates. Drive through Thingvellir, knowing you will be back later for one of the most popular bucket-list experiences here, snorkelling through tectonic plates! (Kids can snorkel from 12 years old+ so let me know if your boys are younger, trying to remember!)
GEYSIR GEOTHERMAL AREA
Travel from Thingvellir across the rugged landscape over to your first stop, the amazing Geysir Geothermal Area. Witness the heated waters of the most active Geysir 'Strokkur' erupting water from the depths every 10 minutes or so, reaching heights of 20-40 metres in the air. It is a truly remarkable sight to behold and a very rewarding and memorable experience that will stick with you for a lifetime. This stop will give you the chance to catch some gorgeous souvenirs and grab a snack before hitting the road for a short time once more to the famous Gullfoss Waterfall.
GULFOSS WATERFALL
This powerful waterfall is located in a plunging, ancient valley and tumbles down two drops, from an overall height of 32 meters (105 ft).
The minute you step out of your car, you can hear the breathtaking power of the water from this awe-inspiring waterfall and there is no doubt you will want to get the cameras out and share this mesmerizing hotspot with the world! Summer is the best time to visit this iconic waterfall, as this is when the water is at its heaviest and loudest!
KERID CRATER
After all this natural eye-catching scenery, you are sure to be feeling peckish at this point, so it will be time to catch some lunch before or after the next voyage on your adventure to the popular Icelandic crater lake, Kerid Crater. Known as the eye of the world, Kerid Crater is inside of a volcanic caldera and surrounded by rare red volcanic rock. It is easy to become spellbound by its big blue eye with all the beauty circling this fascinating lake.
LUNCH IN SELFOSS
Make a pit stop in Selfoss, just a 15min drive from the Crater and grab some lunch – whether you are looking for a sit-down or a quick takeaway, there are plenty of options here!
My favourites are:
Kaffi Kr̼s РA well-established restaurant and cafe in the heart of Selfoss. They have a varied menu and a good selection of cakes and coffee.
MENAM Food Hall – Menam (the Dairy Farm) in Selfoss is a real food culture house. Eight restaurants, two bars and a cheese show in a 1,500 square meter space with seating for over 300 people.
**I would recommend calling in advance to reserve tables where applicable. Let me know if this is something you would like me to organise upon booking.
LAUGARVATN FONTANA
After lunch you will continue on to a more local hot spring that is super family friendly. Your experience at Laugarvatn is one you will be excited to enjoy to help aid jetlag! You have another drive to the Laugarvatn Fontana, a village that has been a place to bathe since Viking times as a geothermal hot spring is situated right by Lake Laugarvatn warming up the water.
Laugarvatn Fontana took the idea one step further and built their steam rooms on top of the bubbling hot spring making the experience truly Icelandic. Relax in the natural pools and hot tubs in between dips in the cold lake.
After an incredible day, you are sure to feel rather tired! Head back to Reykjavik for a much-needed restful night before another amazing day tomorrow.

Excursion Le Marais Food Tour in Paris | Private Experience
11:00AM or 4:30PM start
Explore the beautiful uptown neighborhood of Le Marais on this three-hour tour, while enjoying several food and wine-tasting stops at its famous eateries. You will taste traditional French pastries, cheeses, and hot dishes with matching wines, sample an iconic macaroon and indulge in French chocolates.
Le Marais is a beautiful medieval arrondissement of Paris: a maze of narrow cobbled streets, old timbered buildings, and aristocratic mansions, with picturesque squares like Place des Vosges and other hidden gems. Named for the marshland it was originally built on, Le Marais was once the headquarters of the infamous Knights Templar. Today it is one of Paris’s most elegant, multi-ethnic, and trendy neighborhoods—all of which is reflected in its international cuisine.
Your tour meets in the very heart of Le Marais and begins at a charming patisserie, famous for its elaborate decor, where you will sample a classic French pastry: the croissant! Having finished this morning bite, you will meander through characteristic streets, learning the neighborhood’s history, ultimately arriving to a mouth-watering tasting of traditional French cheeses and freshly baked baguette, with a delicious glass of wine.
Afterwards, your guide will show you the vibrant Rue des Rosiers, rich with Jewish history. The street has many kosher food shops, stalls, and restaurants lining it and continues to this very day to carry on the Jewish traditions rooted there.
Along Rue des Rosiers you will also be able to try what is arguably the best falafel in the world! Paris is world famous for its falafel, imported to the European capital from the middle east; indeed it is the most popular street food in Paris!
After your wanderings, it will be time for a relaxing sit down at a restaurant where you can taste a delicious French onion soup, Having finished lunch, you will be taken to two special locales to sample iconic French sweet treats: a delicate macaroon, followed by award-winning chocolates to top off your experience!

If you are traveling to Paris with teens, this is THE tour for you! With three amazing experiences rolled into one, this perfectly curated day for teens will blow their socks off.
First stop: the Louvre! Our team of superheroes have crafted an exciting treasure hunt in the Louvre for your older kiddos. Finally, the perfect way to get your teens interested in a museum! In this 2.5-hour adventure, your clever Art Expert will explain the rules: 12 challenges to solve to lead them through the museum, from masterpiece to masterpiece. This truly is an interactive and unique way to experience this famous cultural institution.
After you have solved all the enigmas through ancient Egypt and the renaissance, it’s time for the next leg of your trip: a sidecar adventure! If you have never ridden in a sidecar before, you are in for a real treat! This one-of-a-kind experience will make you feel like you’re a celebrity as you discover hidden gems along the Seine. Your chauffeur will point out famous landmarks on the way – you’ve surely never seen them from this perspective before.
But your trip will not only be informative – it will be thrilling! Visiting a city in a sidecar is like nothing you have ever done. Whether it makes you feel like the star of an action blockbuster or the hounds in Artistocats (Napolean and Lafayette – these French names can’t be a coincidence, right?), it will be a memory you will never forget. When you are in a sidecar, you are lower to the ground, making it feel like you are flying through the streets at ground-level. One of the most fun aspects about this experience is how eye-catching it is. No other time in a city with millions of people will Parisians stop to turn and wave at you. It’s hard not to feel like a movie star, and we have no doubt your teens will feel special as they learn about the history of the ancient city.
After you have experienced the city from the ground, it is time to get an aerial view from atop the iconic symbol of France: the Eiffel Tower. After a long day of quests and an exciting ride, it’s time to get some height to admire Paris nearly from the sky!
If you are looking for some exercise, you can climb the 1,655 steps, otherwise take the elevator to get to the Summit of the architectural beauty. Whether you use the time to spot all the Parisian landmarks, grab some selfies for your teens’ instas or just reflect on your family adventures of the day, we promise the view will be both breath-taking and awe-inspiring.
