I am delighted to enclose your personalized itinerary for 6 people, with 3 beautiful Glass Igloo suites. I have also included your transfers from the airport to ensure your stay starts and ends smoothly.
This trip to Finnish Lapland will put you in the heart of the legendary region of Rovaniemi, where you will enjoy a wonderful 4-night stay at the Apukka Resort. Here you can indulge and experience the bucket list experience of staying in an Igloo, perfect for that all important aurora viewing.

You will cross the beautiful snowy landscape to reach a traditional Lappish “Kota”: a hut deep in the wilderness. Gather around the blazing bonfire to enjoy light snacks and hot drinks. Your expert guide will help you with camera settings to best capture the Northern Lights.
This excursion is completely focused on the Northern Lights, but you also get to experience the beauty of the pure, snowy forest, darkness, and silence. As the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, nobody can give a 100% guarantee to see them, but this trip presents an excellent chance!

Husky Safari | Private
After breakfast, you will enjoy a fabulous hour or two with a fantastic Husky Safari! Husky safaris are a ‘must do’ experience when visiting Lapland.
You will be taught how to handle the sled before you head out for the husky safari, where the huskies will pull your sled through the beautiful winter scenery.
Enjoy the excitement of the dogs before the start, and the serene silence once they get to do what they love – run in the snowy scenery. You will have lunch before or after the activity, and the musher will also show you around the husky farm.
All husky safaris are based on two people sharing a sled unless otherwise stated.

Reindeer Sleigh Ride and Ice Fishing Tour
This reindeer and ice-fishing safari in Apukka offers you an insight into how the real traditional life in Lapland used to be.
You travel in a traditional reindeer-pulled sleigh to a frozen lake for the favorite hobby of Finnish people: ice fishing. Our guide will teach you how to drill a hole in the ice of the frozen lake and prepare the ice fishing rod and baits. A Lappish campfire with sausages will highlight the day outdoors, before returning to the resort.
