Group Trip Breakdown
Day 1: Madrid
Once you’ve settled into your hotel, your guide will meet you and take you on a city tour. Beginning in Puerta del Sol in the heart of the city, you’ll head down calle Mayor and see the oldest buildings in the city, such as the Plaza de la Villa.
On the way to Plaza de España, you’ll visit the Palacio de Manuel Godoy. In the evening, there’ll be a welcome dinner in a top tapas restaurant. After dinner, you’ll be taken for a tour of Madrid’s buzzing gay scene in Chueca, the gay neighbourhood.
Day 2: Madrid
After an action-packed first day, you can take it easy and explore the city at your own pace. There’s so much to see in Madrid. The Chueca neighbourhood is always a great place to explore.
Day 3: Pride
Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning and take you Retiro Park. It was once a royal residence and it guards some of Madrid’s best-kept secrets. We’ll head to Paseo del Prado and visit Museo del Prado and City Hall.
We’ll sample some excellent Spanish cuisine for lunch and then it’ll be time to head to Pride. There are some excellent events lined up such as the Drag Race competition, the high heel race and more.
Day 4: Pride
Madrid Pride attracts upwards of 1.5 million attendants. It’s one of the biggest Pride festivals in the world. After the parade, you’ll be able to attend some of the amazing parties, including ULTRAPOP, the main event. You’ll have full access and a drink waiting for you. The festivities will go on well into the early hours.
Day 5: Madrid
Enjoy a day at leisure in Madrid to work off your hangover. You can explore the city at your own pace, eat tapas or even brave some of the after parties.
Day 6: Departure
Your Madrid Pride adventure draws to a close today. After some last minute shopping, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return flight.
