Days 1, 2 And 3 - Budapest

You’ll arrive in Budapest on your first day where you’ll be met at the airport by a tour representative and transferred over to your starting hotel. On your first night, you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner where you’ll be able to meet your fellow travellers and tour guide. On your second day, you’ll explore more of the ‘Pearl of the Danube’ as you are driven through Pest taking in all of the main sights including Parliament, the Opera House and stopping at Heroes’ Square. You’ll also have some time in the Market Hall where you’ll be able to browse the fresh local produce. Your third day is exploring more of hilly Buda on a half-day tour that takes in the Castle Hill area with visits to Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion. A walk up Gellert Hill will provide you with beautiful views of the Danube River before an afternoon at leisure. Maybe try visiting one of the old spas for a rejuvenating treatment?

Days 1, 2 And 3 - Budapest

Day 4 - Banska Stiavnica

After enjoying breakfast in the morning you will depart for Slovakia, heading up into the mountains to the town of Banska Stiavnica. You’ll enjoy lunch in the hamlet of Svaty Antol where you’ll experience an authentic Slovak lunch with a local folklore performance afterward. Following this, you will go on a two-hour walking tour of the town before enjoying a special presentation on the local sport of falconry.

Day 4 - Banska Stiavnica

Day 5 - Bratislava

Today you’ll visit the capital of Slovakia – Bratislava. One of the newest capital cities in the world, this place only became a capital in 1993 and is a strange mish-mash of urban, classic and contemporary. You’ll enjoy a walking tour of the old city before making your way to one of the city’s finest restaurants for a lovely dinner.

Day 5 - Bratislava

Days 6, 7 And 8 - Vienna

You’ll make your way from Bratislava over to the capital of Austria – Vienna. Here you’ll spend the next few days engaging in a range of exciting activities. You’ll enjoy a walking tour of this architecturally stunning city, taking in a guided tour of the Schonbrunn Castle, a classical music concert and more. You’ll also have some free time to roam the streets and explore more in this fascinating capital. Why not go down to the flea market to grab some bargain buys, visit the local art galleries and museums or experience some of the city’s exciting nightlife?

Days 6, 7 And 8 - Vienna

Day 9 - Cesky Krumlov

After enjoying a hearty breakfast in the morning, you will depart for the historic city of Cesky Krumlov, found in the northwest of the Czech Republic. This little city is famous for its mix of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements and the river, gardens and old town only add to its old-world charm. You’ll enjoy a traditional lunch here before spending the afternoon on a self-paddle raft going down the river. Your afternoon will be free to relax or explore the city more. Why not check out the beautiful 17th-century baroque theatre?

Day 9 - Cesky Krumlov

Days 10, 11 And 12 - Prague

You’ll enjoy some more time exploring Cesky Krumlov, enjoying a tour of the castle and lunch, before departing for Prague! On the way to Prague, you’ll stop at Ceské Budejovice where they produce one of Czech’s most popular beers which you’ll get to try in a beer tasting session and food here. Once you arrive in Prague you’ll enjoy two half-days of guided touring of this famously charming city, taking in key sights such as the Astronomical Clock, Wenceslas Square, Hradcany Castle, St Vitus Cathedral, Royal Way of the Old Town and Charles Bridge. You’ll also have lots of free time to explore independently during your time in Prague. On the last evening, you’ll all come together for a group farewell dinner which will be held on a cruise going down the Vltava River.

Days 10, 11 And 12 - Prague

Day 13 - Departure

Today marks the end of your journey. You’ll be transferred from your hotel in Prague to the airport, ready to catch your departing flight home.
