Austria is an easy, comfortable destination for LGBTQ+ travelers. Same-sex couples have been able to marry since 2019, and Vienna in particular is one of Europe’s most relaxed cities for gay visitors.
Vienna’s scene centers on the area around the Naschmarkt, with bars, cafés and clubs alongside some of the city’s best restaurants, and the Rainbow Parade along the Ringstrasse fills the city each June.
Salzburg, Innsbruck and the alpine resorts are quieter and more traditional, but their hotels are used to international guests and same-sex couples are received without fuss. We choose hotels in the cities and the mountains where you will be welcomed as a couple.

You’re right by the German border so you could get a train from Salzburg to Munich in less than two hours.
