The Czech Republic is one of the most relaxed countries in Central Europe for LGBTQ+ travelers, and Prague is an easy city for same-sex couples. Same-sex couples can register a partnership, expanded in 2025 to carry more of the rights of marriage, though marriage itself is not yet available.
Prague has a well-established scene, concentrated in Vinohrady and around the center, and Prague Pride each August is one of the biggest in the region, with a week of events and a parade through the city.
Outside the capital, Czech society is largely secular and tolerant, and the spa towns, castles and countryside are easy to travel. We choose hotels in Prague and beyond where you will be welcomed as a couple.
