Check in to your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and explore at your leisure.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
With your guide, you’ll see the Old City, including the Western Wall, the Roman Cardo, the room of the Last Supper, Via Delarosa, the Arab Market and more. You’ll also be taken to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the church built on the site where it’s believed Jesus was crucified and the location of his tomb. Experience panoramic views from the Mount of Olives as well.
In the afternoon, you’ll visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust museum which was established as a response to reports of the mass murder of Jews in Nazi-occupied countries. The Hall of Names is a memorial to the 6 million Jews who perished in the Holocaust.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
You’ll drive to Masada, the iconic mountain fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ascending the mountain by cable car, you’ll learn about the last Jewish stronghold against Roman invasion. More than two thousand years have passed since the fall of Masada yet the regional topography and its remoteness have preserved the remains of its extraordinary story.
Nearby is the Dead Sea and the lowest point on earth. You’ll visit the AHAVA Dead Sea Factory Shop. You’ll get to explore the natural minerals, float in the healing Dead Sea water and indulge in natural mud pools.
You’ll then head to Tel Aviv and check in to your hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to head to the beach. The gay beach is located at the Hilton but there are beaches right along the Tel Aviv coastline.
You’re free to experience the historical sites of the Old City of Jaffa, known for being in the biblical stories of Jonah, Solomon and Saint Peter. Explore the cobbled streets and alleyways and then check out some of the local bars.
Stroll through Rothschild Boulevard & the White City, Neve Tzeddek Neighbourhood – the first area to be built outside the Old City of Jaffa before Tel Aviv sprouted in 1909.
