Day 1: Valparaiso
From Santiago airport you’ll be transferred to Valparaiso, a raffish, bohemian coastal town Pablo Neruda celebrated in his writings.
On the way you’ll stop for lunch at a winery.
Day 2: Valparaiso
Today you’ll take a trip to the local market with a chef. Here you’ll find excellent, freshly caught seafood.
Your chef will then escort you to a cooking class and you’ll prepare some classic Chilean cuisine.
Day 3: Santiago
Today you’ll return to Santiago. This city is on the rise and you’ll find many wine bars and restaurants to explore.
Your guide will show you the best food markets. In the evening you’ll dine in a top restaurant, such as La Mision.
Day 4: Mendoza
Today you’ll take a bus along the Andes including its highest peak, Aconcagua mountain.
Eventually, you’ll arrive in the Argentinian city of Mendoza. Check into your hotel and then wine and dine in style.
Day 5: Mendoza
Mendoza a famous wine region. You’ll be exploring some of the local wineries, from newer wineries riding the Malbec boom to older establishments that have been passed down through the generations.
In the evening you’ll eat at the famous restaurant, 1884.
Day 6: Mendoza
Today you could stroll around General San Martín Park or the military memorial, Cerro de la Gloria.
Build up some appetite – and maybe work off that hangover – before another round of fine dining.
Day 7: Buenos Aires
Today you’ll fly to Buenos Aires. In the evening you can join a guided tour and explore its faded grandeur.
Day 8: Buenos Aires
You’ll be joining an intimate food tour of the city, exploring the various food markets. You can also explore the bares notables: vintage cafes that hark back to Argentina’s past.
In the evening, you could try Cenas Pasionarias, a chic restaurant tucked away in an antique shop.
Day 9: Buenos Aires
Day at leisure.
In the evening you’ll join a local, authentic cooking class to learn some regional recipes, or you can opt to indulge in a multi-course tasting menu at a top restaurant.
Day 10: Departure
Today you’ll return to the airport for your return flight.
