Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel sits in Largo do Corpo Santo in the Cais do Sodré district, one of the most central and historically layered parts of Lisbon.

The building dates to the Pombaline era and its architecture defines the rooms inside, each one different in shape and layout as a result of the original structure.

On the lower level, a section of the Fernandina Wall, ordered built by King Fernando in 1373, is preserved within the hotel’s living and reading room, exposed behind glass and incorporated into the space rather than cordoned off.

Commerce Square, the riverfront, and the Time Out Market are all within a five-minute walk. Chiado and Bairro Alto are a short walk uphill.

  • Steps from Commerce Square, the riverfront, and the Time Out Market, with Chiado and Bairro Alto a short walk away.

Accommodation

Classic Rooms

Classic Rooms cover 20 to 28sqm and are the entry point into the collection. Each includes a king or twin bed dressed in cotton linens, city views, a walk-in shower bathroom with chromotherapy lighting, a minibar, a Nespresso machine, and free WiFi.

The Pombaline origins of the building mean no two rooms share the same layout, with some featuring higher ceilings, differently positioned windows, or slightly varied floor plans that give each room a distinct character within the same category.

Superior Rooms

Superior Rooms step up to 30 to 39sqm with additional floor space and the same city-facing outlook. The Superior Deluxe extends this further to 44sqm and offers the most generous standard room footprint in the hotel.

The Superior Family Room is a two-bedroom configuration suited to guests who need separate sleeping areas, with city views throughout.

Suites

The Junior Suite covers 40 to 44sqm and introduces a more substantial living space alongside the bedroom and city views. The Family Junior Suite builds on this with a separate bedroom attached, suited to families or guests who want a degree of separation within the same booking.

At the top of the collection, the Prestige Suite covers 57 to 65sqm with a separate living room and is the most complete accommodation in the hotel, with a floor plan that varies slightly between units as a result of the building’s original structure.
