Borgo Santandrea has been looking out over the fishing village of Conca dei Marini for as long as anyone on this stretch of coast can remember. It began as a private clifftop residence before two Italian families with generations of hospitality between them spent nearly four years transforming it into what it is today.
The sea-facing façade of arches, terraces and stairways cascades 90 metres from rooftop to private beach, with eight elevators connecting every level. The owners’ private collection of mid-century design pieces runs throughout, much of it custom-made by local craftsmen, set within gardens planted to reflect the native terraced horticultural tradition of the Amalfi Coast.
It is a Relais & Châteaux property, a Virtuoso member and home to a Michelin-starred restaurant, with a private beach club and a private dock giving direct sea access to Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Ischia and Paestum.

Accommodation
Rooms
Rooms begin with the Classic, a garden-facing category with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the terraced coastal gardens. The Superior rooms introduce a private balcony and lateral sea views, with select rooms combinable into a Family Room configuration.
The Deluxe rooms face the sea directly with panoramic Amalfi Coast views, a sitting area and a private balcony or French balcony.
Each carries the same commitment to individually designed interiors and local craftsmanship that runs through the entire property.
Suites
The suites range across six categories, each with sea views, individually designed interiors, handmade ceramic tile flooring and a full marble bathroom. Entry-level suites have private balconies and direct coastal views.
Mid-tier suites open onto full private terraces with wider outlooks over the Mediterranean. The pool suites add a heated infinity plunge pool within a private garden or terrace.
The flagship suite crowns the collection with a King bedroom, marble bathroom, private garden and an infinity pool with uninterrupted views from every window.

Alici — Michelin-Starred Fine Dining
Alici is the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, open each evening on a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea. Led by Executive Chef Crescenzo Scotti, the cooking is rooted in Campanian tradition with a menu built on the finest local and seasonal produce.
AQVA Restaurant — Beach Club
AQVA sits on the private beach inside a 19th-century fishermen’s boathouse, serving relaxed lunches and light dishes throughout the day. The menu focuses on fresh seafood and classic Italian dishes built around local flavours.
Marinella Restaurant — Beach Club Dinner
Marinella takes over the private beach in the evening as a more refined dining destination, serving fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients and traditional Amalfi Coast recipes with the water just steps away and the coastline as a backdrop.
Plumbago Bar
Positioned at the highest point of the hotel with panoramic views over Conca dei Marini. Serving drinks throughout the day.
