Trisara sits on a hillside above a private bay on the northwest coast of Phuket, 15 minutes from the international airport and well away from the crowds of Patong and Kamala. The resort spans 14 hectares of protected nature preserve, with private pool villas and residences on terraced slopes facing the Andaman Sea.
The name translates from Sanskrit as “third heaven garden” and each villa has its own private pool, indoor-outdoor living area and traditional Thai architectural details throughout.
JARA Spa is centered around a centuries-old Ficus tree. Treatments are carried out in sea-facing rooms, and the resort also has an infinity pool, two tennis courts, a fitness centre and a Muay Thai boxing programme.
Phuket is one of the most established LGBTQ+ destinations in Southeast Asia, with a travel culture that is broadly open and welcoming.

Accommodation
Signature Ocean View Pool Suite
The entry point at Trisara and the standard here is high. Each has a private pool on an outdoor deck facing the sea, a separate living area and a bathroom with both indoor and outdoor elements. The interiors draw on traditional Thai design with contemporary finishes throughout.
Two-Bedroom Signature Villas
The two-bedroom villas step up considerably in size, covering around 1,600 square meters with two king bedrooms, a living and dining room, and a private pool.
The layout works well for couples travelling together or for those wanting more room to spread across a longer stay.
Three-Bedroom Signature Villas
At around 3,800 square meters, the three-bedroom villas sit above the bay on the northern headland of the resort.
The villa is arranged across three levels connected by garden walkways, with the Andaman Sea visible from every level. The layout includes a full kitchen, a private pool and direct access to the beach below.
Four-Bedroom Ocean Front
The largest accommodation at Trisara, covering 3,000 square meters with four bedrooms and a position directly above the bay.
The residence has its own pool, a full kitchen and a dedicated team. It is designed for those who want the space and privacy of a private house with the service of a hotel behind it.

Food & Drink
PRU
Trisara’s Michelin-starred restaurant focuses on produce from the resort’s own farm in the Phuket hills and from local suppliers across southern Thailand. The menu changes with what is growing and what is being caught, and the dining room faces the sea. PRU received its first Michelin star in 2018 and has held it consistently since.
Seafood at Trisara
The open-air restaurant above the beach serves grilled seafood and Thai dishes in the evenings, with the Andaman Sea below and the hillside above. The focus is on the catch from the surrounding waters, simply prepared.
The Bar
Sits between the main facilities and the beach and serves drinks, light snacks and cocktails throughout the day and into the evening.
Spa & Wellness
JARA Spa is built around a centuries-old Ficus tree at the centre of the resort. The treatment menu covers traditional Thai massage, body wraps, facials and holistic wellness programs.
All treatment rooms face the sea. The spa also offers yoga sessions and is connected to the resort’s fitness facilities, which include a gym, two tennis courts and a Muay Thai boxing programme.
The private beach below the resort is reserved for guests, with kayaking, snorkelling and diving available directly from the shore.
