Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa is an adults-only five-star resort of stilted villas at Glacis, on the north coast of Mahé.
The Northolme is one of the oldest hotels in the Seychelles, on a rocky, palm-covered coast at Glacis, a short drive from Beau Vallon. Ian Fleming stayed here and drew on it for his writing. The villas stand on stilts down the hillside and over the rocks, each with a balcony or deck and ocean view, some with a private pool.
It is an adults-only resort, small and romantic, with around 56 villas built around couples. There is an infinity pool over the water, an eforea spa, and a yoga studio, plus experiences like floating breakfasts and candlelit dinners on the rocks.
Dining covers two restaurants and bars, and a small beach lies below, with a free shuttle to Beau Vallon. It suits couples, gay or straight, on a honeymoon or quiet escape. The airport is about 45 minutes away.

Dining
There are two restaurants and a couple of bars. Les Cocotiers is the main dinner restaurant, with a European and international menu, and a second oceanfront restaurant and bar take care of daytime meals and drinks above the water. Beyond the regular menus, the resort leans into set-piece dining: floating breakfasts in your pool, candlelit dinners on the rocks, and sunset aperitivo. It is intimate rather than large-scale.
Wellness
The eforea spa is the wellness centerpiece, with couples’ treatment rooms, body treatments, and aromatherapy, plus a steam room and Jacuzzi. The infinity pool runs along the edge of the rocks above the ocean, and there are weekly yoga classes and a fitness centre on-site. Down at the water, snorkelling and diving are easy off the resort’s beach, with calmer swimming a short shuttle ride away at Beau Vallon.
Location
The Northolme is at Glacis, on the rocky northwest tip of Mahé, where the coast breaks into granite headlands and small coves rather than long beaches. The resort’s own beach is small, but the wide sweep of Beau Vallon, with its restaurants, bars, and dive centers, is a few minutes away by car or the resort shuttle. Victoria, the capital, is close, and Seychelles International Airport is about 45 minutes south.
