At a glance
Le Bristol Paris sits on the Faubourg Saint-Honoré with a century of history behind it, four Michelin stars in its kitchens, and a rooftop pool looking out over Montmartre.
Le Bristol Paris occupies a landmark position on the Faubourg Saint-Honoré, in the eighth arrondissement’s most coveted stretch of real estate. The hotel was the first in France to receive Palace accreditation, and that designation still means something here: service is attentive without being formal, and the property’s grand rooms and suites, decorated in classic Parisian style, never feel overwhelming in scale.
The dining is serious. Chef Arnaud Faye, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, leads a collection of restaurants holding four Michelin stars in total. The indoor rooftop pool, with views toward Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower, ranks among the most extraordinary hotel amenities in the city.
A private courtyard garden and artisan ateliers on the ground floor give Le Bristol a depth that sets it apart from the merely luxurious.

Highlights
- France’s first Palace-accredited hotel, on the Faubourg Saint-Honoré since 1925
- Four Michelin stars led by Chef Arnaud Faye, Meilleur Ouvrier de France
- Indoor rooftop pool with direct views of Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower
Accommodation
Superior Room
The entry point at Le Bristol Paris, the Superior Room looks out over the hotel’s tranquil courtyard and is designed around classic French décor with Quagliotti linen throughout. The marble bathroom includes a freestanding bathtub, separate rain shower, and double sinks. A Nespresso machine and minibar complete the setup. Quietly comfortable and well-considered for a solo stay or business trip.
Deluxe Room
These rooms look directly onto the hotel’s private garden, planted by landscape designer Arabella Lennox-Boyd with hornbeams and seasonal blooms. Interiors draw on fabrics by Pierre Frey, Manuel Canovas, and Brunschwig & Fils alongside Louis XV and XVI furnishings. Marble bathrooms include a deep bathtub, rain shower, and double vanity. Some rooms connect to adjoining accommodation for families or groups.
Deluxe Suite
Separating living and sleeping into distinct rooms, the Deluxe Suite looks onto either the inner courtyard or the Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Delicate sculptures, Louis XV and XVI pieces, and fabrics from Loro Piana and Braquenié run throughout, in a palette of blue, pink, and cream. Interconnecting rooms and the option of an extra bed make these a practical choice for families traveling with children.
Suite Penthouse
The hotel’s signature suite occupies the seventh floor of the original building, with a private terrace looking out over the dome of Saint-Augustin and the Jardin Français below. Presented in French Empire style across a sitting room, dining area, study, and master bedroom, the suite arrives with a dedicated Maître d’hôtel, 24/7 WhatsApp line, VIP airport meet-and-greet, and a spa treatment for two. Chef Arnaud Faye’s services are available on request.

Spa

Spa Le Bristol by La Mer occupies the sixth floor, with an indoor rooftop pool looking out over Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Sacré-Coeur, reserved exclusively for hotel guests. Eight treatment rooms, including a couples suite, offer protocols from La Mer, Tata Harper, and Bonpoint. HydraFacial technology sits alongside the signature facial menu. A Pilates Reformer and private coaching room complete the fitness offering.
Dining

Four Michelin stars sit under one roof, led by Chef Arnaud Faye, Meilleur Ouvrier de France. Epicure holds three stars and anchors the collection; 114 Faubourg adds a one-star brasserie. Café Antonia handles casual dining throughout the day, while Le Jardin Français lets guests eat and drink in the courtyard garden among roses and greenery. The hotel’s wine cellar is one of the largest of any palace in Paris.
France
France operates on Central European Time, one hour ahead of the UK and six hours ahead of the East Coast of the US. The TGV high-speed rail network is one of the best in the world and should be the default for inter-city travel: Paris to Lyon in two hours, Paris to Marseille in three, Paris to Bordeaux in just over two.

Emily in Paris Tour: Versailles, Champagne and the Riviera
Tailor-made HolidayNine days following the show's most iconic locations, from the rooftops of Paris to the vineyards of Champagne and the glamour of the Riviera. Emily in Paris arrived on Netflix in 2020, during a period when most of the world couldn't travel anywhere, and the timing was not incidental to its success. The show offered something people were acutely missing: Paris in full colour, the food, the fashion, the arguments, the light.
