At a glance
La Réserve Ramatuelle occupies a private garrigue estate above the Saint-Tropez peninsula, looking out over one of the most beautiful bays on the French Riviera.
La Réserve Ramatuelle sits within a vast private domain in the Provençal garrigue, a few minutes from Saint-Tropez but removed from the noise and crowds of the village itself. The property looks out over the Mediterranean from a hilltop position that frames one of the finest views on the French Riviera.
The hotel offers multiple room and suite categories, plus a collection of private villas ranging from three to six bedrooms that remain available throughout the year.
The dining is a serious proposition. La Voile, led by Chef Eric Canino, holds two Michelin stars for its Mediterranean cuisine. La Piscine serves Italian poolside, and La Muña offers Japanese with views of the sea. La Réserve à La Plage, designed by Philippe Starck, puts guests on Pampelonne beach. Spa Nescens specialises in longevity and better-ageing programmes.

Highlights

Accommodation
Deluxe Room
Set at garden level on the same floor as Spa Nescens, these rooms sit within the Mediterranean vegetation with a large Italian-style rain shower, private terrace, and garden looking directly out to sea. The layout feels grounded rather than elevated, with a quieter, more private relationship to the landscape. Breakfast, spa access, and a shuttle to Pampelonne are included in the rate.
Corner Junior Suite
Located at the far end of the second floor, these suites take their decorative cues from the Riviera’s 1950s and 60s golden age, with hand-painted murals, ceramic lighting, and natural materials in soft, vivid tones. The corner position faces Cap Taillat across the open Mediterranean, and the 25-square-meter terrace has a lounge area alongside the dining space. A balneotherapy bathtub is included.
Riviera Suite
Accessed via a private passageway from the pool, the Riviera Suite has a dual east and south aspect that catches both morning cool and afternoon sun. Two terraced gardens face Cap Camarat on one side and Cap Taillat on the other, totaling 190 square meters of outdoor space. Inside, white and blue tones with natural materials run throughout, with a large dressing room and sitting area.
Taillat Suite
The largest of the named suites, with a 150-square-meter corner terrace that takes in an unbroken panorama from Cap Camarat to Cap Taillat. The suite has its own private access for additional seclusion, with interiors referencing the 1950s and 60s Ramatuelle aesthetic through ceramics, hand-painted murals, and woven wicker furniture. A balneotherapy bathtub and a terrace table for six make it well suited for longer stays.

Dining

Chef Eric Canino’s two Michelin-starred La Voile anchors the dining, with a menu built on Provençal produce and a philosophy of nutritional balance alongside flavor. La Brasserie offers a more relaxed terrace setting. La Piscine serves Italian poolside, and La Muña handles Japanese with Mediterranean views. La Réserve à La Plage, the Philippe Starck-designed beach outpost on Pampelonne, adds a sixth option for days spent at the shore.
Spa

Spa Nescens occupies 1,000 square meters and operates around the Swiss brand’s medical approach to longevity and better-aging. Eleven treatment rooms, a 12-meter heated indoor pool, hammam, herbal tea bar, and fitness studio sit within the space. Three- to five-day programs cover targeted objectives from physical performance to mental wellness, with a dedicated women’s better-aging program also available. The spa stays open throughout the winter by appointment.
France
France operates on Central European Time, one hour ahead of the UK and six hours ahead of the East Coast of the US. The TGV high-speed rail network is one of the best in the world and should be the default for inter-city travel: Paris to Lyon in two hours, Paris to Marseille in three, Paris to Bordeaux in just over two.
