Domaine Les Crayères is the most complete expression of French luxury in the Champagne region, and it has been since the day it opened.
Built in 1904 as the home of the De Polignac family, the château stands within a six-hectare park in the heart of Reims, its formal pebbled paths and sculpted grounds a direct link to the era of Madame Pommery, whose name remains synonymous with Champagne. Now owned by the Gardinier family and a member of Relais & Châteaux, it carries a century of history with considerable ease.
Twenty individually appointed rooms and suites, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant led by Chef Christophe Moret and a wine list of over 600 Champagne labels sit at the centre of a property that understands exactly what it is. For anyone who wants to experience the Champagne region properly, this is where that experience begins.

The most coveted room category at Domaine Les Crayères. Full views of the château façade, a private balcony overlooking the grounds and the kind of outlook that makes leaving for dinner the only reasonable excuse to step outside. The natural choice for a special occasion or anyone who wants the fullest version of what this property offers.

Dining
The dining at Domaine Les Crayères is organised around one conviction: that Champagne and exceptional cooking belong together. Chef Christophe Moret leads a two-Michelin-starred kitchen at Le Parc, while Brasserie Le Jardin handles relaxed meals in the park itself. Bar La Rotonde runs from afternoon Champagne to late jazz evenings. A wine list of over 600 Champagne labels runs throughout.
Wellness
Domaine Les Crayères takes a considered approach to wellness. The six-hectare park, a tennis court and tailored in-room treatments arranged on request provide the framework. The restorative quality of two days spent eating exceptionally well in a building that has been doing this for over a century does the rest. A dedicated boutique allows guests to take something of the experience home.
Activities
The Champagne region is the activity here, and the team arranges every element of it. Private vineyard excursions by chauffeur or hot air balloon, cellar visits to the great Champagne houses of Reims and Épernay, and cultural visits to the UNESCO-listed cathedral and the Art Nouveau Villa Demoiselle are all arranged on request through the concierge.
