? Our group trips are a great chance to travel with others. We also recommend adding in a few extra nights tailor-made to ensure you build the perfect itinerary.

Surround yourself with ancient history and a sense of spirituality as you delight in the unbridled freedom of mountainous Bhutan on this unique luxury group trip.

The home of Buddhism, the Himilayas, and a plethora of breathtaking natural vistas, there’s no denying that Bhutan is one of the world’s most special travel destinations. For centuries, the country’s government sought to protect its treasured Buddhist monuments and monasteries, heavily restricting travel into Bhutan. However, recent years have seen limited numbers of tourists allowed in each year, and as such, Bhutan has cemented itself as one of the most exclusive destinations for luxury travel. On this group trip, you’ll have the chance to witness the magical sights of Bhutan firsthand and tour a stunningly diverse selection of natural landscapes and urban settlements.

In detail

? Don't forget that most of our itineraries can be totally customized. Our expert team will be able to talk you through all the options.

Day 1-2 Thimphu

The capital of the Kingdom of Bhutan, Thimphu is a treasure trove of Bhutanese Art, culture, and religious architecture. It’s here that many of the country’s most exciting attractions and venues can be found, including an array of restaurants and local shops. It’s also the only capital city on Earth that doesn’t have any traffic lights. From Thimphu, you’ll be able to set out into the Himalayas for scenic hikes, adventure cycling, and tours of ancient temples.

Day 1-2 Thimphu

Day 3-5 Punakha

Stunning Punakha has been a focal point for national history throughout Bhutan’s storied history. The converging point of two important rivers, Punakha is littered with culturally significant monuments and home to the Royal Botanical Park – the best showcase of Himilayan plants. The city is also where you’ll find one of the last surviving populations of the critically endangered white-bellied herons.

Day 3-5 Punakha

Day 6-7 Paro

The broad valley that contains Paro is the only area in Bhutan large and flat enough to allow a plane to safely land. This, combined with fertile and productive soil, has made Paro a center of wealth within Bhutan. Reachable only by a small wooden bridge, the Paro Dzong is arguably one of the country’s finest Dzongs and has been used throughout history to defend the valley from Tibetan invasions.
