Day 1: Zagreb

Day 2 to 3: Plitvice National Park and Split
On day 2 of our adventure, we’re set to explore the magnificent walled village of Split, famed for its historic Diocletian’s Palace nestled by the shimmering Adriatic Sea. But first, we’ll add some excitement to our day with a visit to the breathtaking Plitvice National Park. This must-visit destination features stunning waterfalls cascading dramatically over cliffs, creating a natural spectacle that’s perfect for photography enthusiasts. After soaking in the park’s natural beauty, we’ll head towards the coast to our first medieval stop: the captivating city of Split.
Split, Croatia’s coastal jewel, seamlessly blends ancient charm with modern vibrancy. Wander through the UNESCO-listed Diocletian’s Palace, stroll along the lively waterfront promenade, and unwind on the stunning Adriatic beaches. With its rich history, dynamic nightlife, and delectable cuisine, Split promises a delightful mix of cultural exploration and relaxation.
Days 4 to 6: Hvar
Welcome to island time! Imagine the historical allure of Split, enhanced by a cosmopolitan vibe and stunning beaches, and you have Hvar Island. A brief 1-hour ferry ride from the mainland will take us to Stari Grad, where the relaxed island atmosphere blends seamlessly with a touch of European jetsetter flair in this picturesque seaside town.
Hvar Island is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, lush lavender fields, and vibrant nightlife. The historic Hvar Town, with its ancient fortress and quaint stone streets, offers an ideal base for a few days of both relaxation and exploration.
To fully experience Hvar and its surrounding gems, we’ve planned an exciting day trip by speedboat. This adventure will take us to some of the most stunning coves, cliffs, bays, and beaches, allowing us to soak in the island’s natural beauty and make unforgettable memories.
Days 7 to 10: Mostar & Dubrovnik
As we approach the final leg of our journey, our last destination, Dubrovnik, promises to be the crowning jewel of our trip. This iconic city, renowned for its exceptionally preserved fortressed old town, offers a breathtaking glimpse into a bygone era of epic battles and resilient defenders. Few places in the world boast such a rich historical tapestry so beautifully preserved, making Dubrovnik a standout highlight of our adventure.
To add a special touch to our farewell, we’ll embark on an unforgettable full-day excursion from Dubrovnik to the picturesque city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar is famed for its stunning Stari Most (Old Bridge) and its charming Ottoman-era architecture. With a local guide, we’ll meander through the cobbled streets of the old town, explore historic mosques, and soak in the captivating river views. Mostar’s unique blend of Eastern and Western influences offers a fascinating cultural experience.
Our journey concludes back in Dubrovnik on the 10th day. Take this final opportunity to pick up those last-minute souvenirs, enjoy a final drink with your new friends, and savour the last breaths of Croatian air.
