Across 16 hectares of tropical gardens on the south coast of Mauritius, the resort has been designed from the ground up as a wellness destination. The architecture follows the principles of Vastu Shastra, the ancient Indian science of spatial harmony, and the result is a property where the sense of calm is not incidental but intentional, present in every sight line, every material choice and every aspect of how the days are structured. Just 61 suites and private pool villas across the entire estate ensure that the scale never works against the atmosphere.
The Shanti Spa spans 7,500 square metres and is one of the largest wellness sanctuaries in the Indian Ocean. Three restaurants, a 2,000 square metre kids club and ocean-facing villas with dedicated butler service round out a resort that works as well for families as it does for couples in search of genuine restoration.

Junior Suite
These ocean facing villas include a beautiful king size bed (or twin beds), and a stunning en-suite bathroom finished to a very high standard. The bathroom contains a large bathtub and separate shower. Outside, you can enjoy a private terrace and balcony area.
Luxury Villas
These villas give you even more space. Enjoy the beautiful bedroom and king size bed. The bathroom is sleek and elegant. Outside, enjoy your very own private pool and decking area, which is shielded by tropical gardens giving you some privacy.
Luxury Suite Villa
With the added bonus of a large living area, these villas have plenty of space both inside and outside for you to relax in. Outside is your very own swimming pool, with plenty of decking area and sun loungers.
Two Bedroom Suite Villas
Perfect if you are a small group or family as there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the villa. With a separate living area, there is plenty of space for you to relax in. These villas also include a private swimming pool for you to enjoy and plenty of outdoor lounge space.

If you are seeking ultimate seclusion and intimacy, then you won’t find it anywhere else. The Shanti villas tick all the boxes and are sure to make your stay very enjoyable. The interior is designed with a traditional theme but finished to an impeccable standard. The two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the spacious open-plan living area will make your stay very comfortable. The swimming pool has a built in Jacuzzi for you to enjoy and the spacious outdoor terrace is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a delicious lunch.

The kitchen celebrates the island’s rich culinary heritage throughout, treating local produce and traditional Mauritian recipes with the same care the spa applies to its treatments. The dining at Shanti Maurice is not an afterthought, it is a considered part of what the resort is trying to do.
Wellness
The Shanti Spa is the centrepiece of the resort and one of the most serious wellness facilities in the Indian Ocean. Spanning 7,500 square metres, it blends Ayurveda, yoga, meditation and personalised treatments under the guidance of an in-house Ayurvedic doctor. Daily yoga sessions, individual wellness consultations and a treatment menu designed around genuine restoration rather than hotel spa convention make this the kind of facility that gives guests a reason to return. The entire resort has been planned according to Vastu Shastra principles, which means the wellness offering does not begin and end at the spa door.
Activities
The 2,000 square metre Shanti Kids Club is one of the most spacious children’s facilities on the island, welcoming children from four months to twelve years with a private pool, creative workshops and expert supervision. For adults, the beachfront, watersports programme and excursions into the Mauritian interior fill the days between spa sessions. Ocean-facing villas come with dedicated butler service for guests who prefer the day to come to them rather than the other way around.
