The Viceroy Riviera Maya is a serene hideaway that merges every luxury amenity with dramatic sea and jungle, bringing together the best of the destination.
The award-winning, all-villa resort is set on a sugary-white-sand beach lapped by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and is immersed in a lush jungle ambience dense with ferns, palms and guava trees that is the playground of a resident family of friendly spider monkeys.
The spacious and elegantly appointed villas feature a completely private patio and plunge pool, outdoor shower, and a high-ceiling thatched-palapa roof that resonates with the jungle environment.
Guests arrive to a “Mayan Blessing” performed by the Mayan shaman and are personally escorted to their villa. Then the Soap Concierge arrives to provide this signature personalised amenity of Artisanal Mayan Soaps.
At the spa, Mayan healing techniques and traditions infuse every aspect of the guest experience. A lagoon pool, a fine-dining restaurant and seaside grill, a private pier, day beds at the beach, a fitness centre and a library lounge are among the many guest amenities.

Gay and lesbian couples are welcome to also exchange vows on the untamed beach. Choose the beautiful sunshine, sunset or under the starlit sky for your nuptials.
You have the choice of hosting a non-denominational wedding, a legal wedding or a Mayan inspired blessing.
For symbolic weddings, there are no requirements. For a legal wedding, you will be required to arrive 4 days prior to the wedding date.
We will take care of everything from the witnesses to the photographer as well as arranging a romantic candelit dinner on the beach.

All 41 private villas feature a private patio and plunge pool, outdoor shower, high-ceiling thatched-palapa roof echoing the jungle environment, 500-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, plush down pillows, and a terrace replete with chaise lounges, dining table and a handmade crochet hammock.
