There are also fabulous hotels in Sorrento, including Hotel Parco dei Principi di Sorrento, where you’ll find a more contemporary 5-star experience. For a more old-school 5-star experience, we usually recommend Grand Hotel Ambasciatori. Staying in Sorrento can be a great choice as you get the sweeping views and it’s mostly flat; whereas Amalfi and Positano are perched on the cliffside so walking can be a challenge for some.
