At a glance
A design-led five-star hotel above Elia Beach in Mykonos, with suites and villas featuring private pools, a fine dining restaurant, spa, and a distinctive aesthetic that sets it apart from anything else on the island.
Named after the sacred sanctuaries of the ancient world, Avaton positions itself as a place apart. Traditional Cycladic architecture meets bold contemporary design, with the hotel’s signature red used throughout to striking effect against the white and blue of the Aegean below.
Suites and villas come with private pools, hot tubs, or terraces, all looking out over Elia Beach. Dining at Panorama covers Mediterranean and Greek cuisine from breakfast through to fine dining in the evening.
The spa, infinity pool, private beach spot, and Hydora boutique round out a considered, design-forward stay.

Highlights
- Suites and villas blending traditional Cycladic architecture with bold contemporary design, most with private pools, hot tubs, or furnished terraces
- Infinity pool and a private stretch of Elia Beach, 11km from Mykonos Town on the island’s quieter southern coast
- Fine dining at Panorama restaurant, spa with yoga retreats and wellness experiences, and the Hydora boutique from Greek and international designers

Greece
Greece sits at the southeastern tip of Europe, on the Mediterranean and Aegean coasts. The country covers a small mainland and around 6,000 islands, 200 of which are inhabited. The main island groups are the Cyclades (Mykonos, Santorini, Paros, and Naxos), the Ionian (Corfu, Kefalonia, and Zakynthos), and the Dodecanese (Rhodes, Symi), and Crete, which is large enough to be a destination on its own.
Our Experts
Mykonos is undoubtedly one of my favourite European destinations. The combination of luxury properties, cobbled streets with beautiful tavernas and also the beach is perfect.
I have been to Mykonos several times and love the combination of glamour and laid back vibes. I would recommend combining it with Santorini for a romantic trip.
Stellar service. Stellar products. Stellar people and it gets so much better when you pick up the phone and call.
