From Buenos Aires, venture into the heart of Argentina’s wine country, Mendoza, nestled amidst the breathtaking backdrop of the Andes Mountains. Here, immerse yourself in the art of wine tasting as you traverse the scenic vineyards, sampling an array of wines and learning about the winemaking process from expert sommeliers.
Continue your odyssey to Montevideo, Uruguay’s charismatic capital, where history blends seamlessly with modernity. Explore the cobblestone streets of Ciudad Vieja, the city’s historic quarter, adorned with colonial architecture and vibrant street art. Delight in the flavours of Uruguayan cuisine, from succulent grilled meats to savoury empanadas, accompanied by local wines and the beloved mate tea. Day 1: Buenos Aires
We will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel.
Once you have settled in, you will enjoy a walking tour around the area. The Recoleta neighbourhood is the hub of the city’s aristocracy, where old-money families live in pricey apartments along avenues with luxurious French architecture. Men in ascots and tweed jackets sip espresso at shaded sidewalk cafés, and women with heavy fur coats walk tiny dogs.
Day 2: Buenos Aires
Today after breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed on a city tour of Buenos Aires. You will be guided around many of the famous tourist spots, including Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo, La Boca and Puerto Madero.
You can then explore the city at your leisure.
Day 3: Buenos Aires
After breakfast take a wander around the city or feel free to just relax at the hotel.
In the evening you will be having dinner Carlos Gardel. This excursion includes a 3-course dinner with wine, tango show and shared transfers.
Day 4 - 6: Buenos Aires
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel every morning. Use these days to explore Buenos Aires top to bottom. Go shopping, visit some of the many museums and soak up the city’s vibrant atmosphere. You may wish to visit La Estancia for an Argentinian grill, but only if you’re a meat enthusiast.
Day 7: Buenos Aires
After breakfast you will be collected from the hotel and transferred to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery airport, where you will board a flight to Mendoza.
At Mendoza airport you will be met by our local representative, who will then escort you to your hotel and assist you with check-in.
In the evening feel free to relax after your journey.
Day 8 - 10: Mendoza
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken on a tour of some of Mendoza’s legendary vineyards following a route through the beautiful countryside. The tour includes wine tasting and lunch with drinks.
You’ll have three days to relax at your hotel, sample fine wine and explore Mendoza.
Day 11: Mendoza to Montevideo
After breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport where you will catch a flight to Montevideo.
At the airport, you will be met by a driver who will then take you to your hotel.
The evening is at your leisure.
Day 12 - 13: Montevideo
Today after breakfast at the hotel you will proceed on a city tour of Montevideo. This vibrant, eclectic city has a captivating cultural scene, romantic neighbourhoods and fascinating colonial Ciudad Vieja (‘old city’) just waiting to be explored. You’ll have two days to take in the sights.
In the evening you can drink and relax at the hotel.
Day 14 - 15: Montevideo - Buenos Aires
Today you will catch a flight back to Buenos Aires. At the airport you will be met by our local representative who will escort you to your hotel.
You will spend the next two nights in Buenos Aires, allowing you to explore this magnificent city one final time.
Day 16
Today you will be transferred to the airport from your hotel where you will board a flight to your next destination.
