Sydney – undoubtedly one of the greatest new cities on earth with its slew of beaches and incredible modern architecture. This short city itinerary is perfect for those of you wanting to stop over in Sydney and have free time to explore it as well as offering you the highlights of the east coast city. There are a range of accommodation options and we can build this itinerary further to explore more of the surrounding area or country.
In detail
Day 1: Sydney
Upon arrival into Sydney Airport, a driver will meet you and take you to your hotel.
For those of you who prefer to be closer to Oxford Street, the premier gay street in Sydney, then check in to the gay-friendly Cambridge Hotel.
If you prefer 5* luxury then check in to the Sheraton on the Park which is in the heart of the city and overlooks Hyde Park.
Alternatively, we can arrange a luxurious hotel overlooking Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
Day 2: Sydney
In the afternoon, take a half day Downtown Sydney, Bondi and Kings Cross Tour including a harbour cruise which is a thorough introduction to Sydney and its neighbours.
Tour through the historic Rocks area and take in views of the Opera House, Hyde Park, St Mary’s Cathedral, Parliament House and the Art Gallery. Stop at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair for magnificent views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Visit The Gap and enjoy stunning views.
Then it’s on to the world-famous Bondi Beach to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Join the coach for your return to Sydney, travelling through Paddington and the exclusive Eastern suburbs.
Overnight in Sydney.
Day 3 and 4
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore the city. We recommend travelling to the Blue Mountains and can assist in booking private guides or excursions to some of Sydney’s best sights.
Day 5
Depart from Sydney to explore Australia further or head back to the airport for your journey home.
