Day by day
This is a sample plan, not a fixed departure. Days can be added, removed or reordered, and almost every client changes something. Prices are an entry-level guide; your quote will be exact.
Days 1-2: Reykjavík & Icelandic Spa Culture
Your Iceland wellness journey begins in Reykjavík, a city known for its relaxed pace and creative Nordic culture.
On arrival, visit the famous Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland’s most celebrated geothermal spas. Surrounded by lava fields, soak in the mineral-rich milky waters and enjoy spa treatments designed to relax and rejuvenate. It’s an iconic Icelandic experience for anyone visiting the country.
Spend the following day exploring Reykjavík at your own pace. Walk along the harbour, visit Hallgrímskirkja church, or explore the city’s boutique design stores and galleries. In the evening, experience Sky Lagoon, where a traditional Icelandic seven-step bathing ritual combines hot pools, ocean views and cold plunges for a truly restorative Nordic wellness experience.
Day 3: Reykjavík to the Golden Circle
Today you begin your journey into Iceland’s extraordinary landscapes with a drive through the famous Golden Circle.
Visit Þingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates slowly drift apart, creating a dramatic geological landscape. Continue to the Geysir geothermal area, where steaming vents and erupting geysers showcase Iceland’s volcanic power.
End the day at Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls. Surrounded by wild scenery and fresh Arctic air, this region offers the perfect setting for gentle walks and quiet moments in nature before continuing your journey into Iceland’s countryside.
Days 4-5: Icelandic Countryside Wellness Retreat
Spend the next two days at a luxury countryside retreat, surrounded by vast landscapes of lava fields, mountains and open skies.
These days are designed for relaxation and reflection. Enjoy traditional Icelandic sauna rituals, geothermal hot tubs and wellness treatments inspired by Iceland’s natural elements.
You may also wish to explore the surrounding wilderness with gentle hikes, horseback riding on Icelandic horses or guided nature walks. In the evenings, unwind in outdoor hot pools beneath the open sky – and during winter months, keep watch for the Northern Lights dancing above the Icelandic landscape.
Day 6: Iceland’s South Coast
Today you travel to the spectacular south coast of Iceland, one of the most scenic regions in the country.
Along the way you’ll visit several of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls including Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the cascading water, and the powerful Skógafoss, which plunges dramatically over ancient sea cliffs.
Continue to Reynisfjara Beach, a striking stretch of black volcanic sand framed by basalt columns and crashing Atlantic waves. The dramatic scenery of the south coast perfectly captures Iceland’s raw natural beauty.
Days 7-8: Glacier Lagoons & Quiet Wilderness
Travel further east toward Vatnajökull National Park, home to Europe’s largest glacier and some of Iceland’s most breathtaking scenery.
A highlight is visiting Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where enormous icebergs drift slowly across a vast glacial lake before reaching the nearby Diamond Beach, where fragments of ice sparkle against the black sand.
Spend time walking along the coastline, breathing in the crisp Arctic air and enjoying the quiet beauty of this remote region. With fewer crowds and vast open landscapes, this area offers one of the most peaceful experiences in Iceland.
Day 9: Return to Reykjavík
Begin your journey back toward Reykjavík, retracing the scenic south coast.
Along the way you’ll have time to revisit favourite viewpoints, stop at hidden waterfalls or enjoy a final geothermal soak in one of Iceland’s lesser-known hot springs.
Back in Reykjavík, enjoy a final evening exploring the city’s restaurants and relaxed nightlife.
Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Keflavík International Airport for your return flight.
As your Iceland wellness retreat comes to an end, you’ll leave with lasting memories of geothermal waters, vast landscapes and the restorative power of Iceland’s wild nature.
