Switzerland is expensive by any conceivable metric. It’s practically made of money. Switzerland famously maintained peace, stability and neutrality for much of its history. What’s the point of waging wars and having political chaos? Let’s all be rich and get on with our fabulous lives.
Naturally, you’ll find excellent transport links in Switzerland. It’s very easy to travel around. Swiss cuisine is also fabulous infusion of different European influences, a bit French, bit German and bit of everything else.
