Days 1-2: Zurich

Today you’ll take the iconic Glacier Express train to St. Moritz. This panoramic train climbs through the dramatic peaks of the Swiss Alps on one of the most picturesque rail journeys in the world. You’ll reach St. Moritz in around eight hours, traversing 91 tunnels and crossing 291 bridges along its 290-kilometre route. Inside the comfortable cars, floor-to-ceiling windows offer awe-inspiring views of snow-capped mountains, dense pine forests, glistening streams, and charming Swiss villages. The Glacier Express moves deliberately slow to allow maximum appreciation of the passing vistas.
