UNICO 20°87° is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort on the white-sand coastline of the Riviera Maya, with the property’s name a direct reference to its location at 20°N, 87°W. The curved shape of the building follows the line of the coast, with bright, spacious rooms running across the resort.
The food side covers five restaurants, the headline being Cueva Siete by celebrity chef Gerardo Vázquez Lugo. The menu rotates with an annual guest chef who designs a signature menu for one of the venues. The bar and lounge programme runs to Palmera Lounge with live entertainment, the Bar Balam cocktail bar, and Cafe Inez for juices, coffee, and lighter plates.
Three pools, a holistic spa, and a fitness centre with yoga, meditation, and beachfront classes cover the daytime side. The all-inclusive offering is built around personalization, including in-room minibars stocked to preference and a personal host for every guest.

Accommodation
Alcoba Swim-Up Pool
All of the rooms are designed with natural, locally sourced materials. The Alcoba Swim-Up Pool offers has an exterior swim-up pool. The Alcoba rooms are 624 SQ FT. You can opt for a Garden View or Tropical View.
You’ll have a terrace, a lounge area and a rain shower. You can also opt for Ocean View or Ocean Front rooms.
Estancia Tropical View
The Estancia Suites are twice the size of the Alcoba rooms. The embody the rustic elegance of the hotel. You’ll have a sprawling private terrace with an outdoor hydro spa tub.
Estancia Suite
This is even larger than the Estancia Tropical View suite. Enjoy unique artworks, two hydro spa tubs and 1,894 SQ FT of space to yourself.

Dining
UNICO 20°87° runs five restaurants. Cueva Siete is the headline, a Mexican concept with a rotating chef-in-residence programme. Mura House covers Japanese across teppanyaki, yakitori, and sushi, while Mi Carisa is the coastal Italian fine-dining venue, built around a wood-burning oven. The casual 20.87 Restaurant handles beachside dining day and night, and Cafe Inez takes care of European-style café service.
Wellness
Esencia Wellness is the spa, finished in blue mosaic tiling and built around hydrotherapy, individual plunge pools, heated relaxation beds, and a long treatment menu. Most treatments are included in the all-inclusive offering at a 20% service fee. The fitness programme covers personal training, beachfront classes, yoga, and meditation alongside a fully equipped gym.
Location
UNICO 20°87° is in the Kantenah area of the Riviera Maya, around an hour and 15 minutes south of Cancún International Airport. Tulum is roughly 25 miles south and Playa del Carmen 30 minutes north, with the Dos Ojos cenotes and Río Secreto underground river system both within 15 miles. Akumal Beach is a short drive away.
