The Hotel Mousai brand currently runs two all-suite properties in Mexico: the original five-diamond Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta and the newer Hotel Mousai Cancún, both operating under the wider TAFER Hotels & Resorts group. The five-diamond rating, awarded by AAA, is the highest level the body issues.
The accommodation runs all-suite across both hotels, with private plunge pools in select categories, butler service, 24-hour in-room dining, and ocean-view layouts. The design leans contemporary and architectural, set up for couples and adult travellers rather than families.
Dining is a major focus across both properties. DAO in Puerto Vallarta is the Mondrian-style contemporary Chinese venue, with Misika handling Peruvian fine-dining and NOI Italian. The Cancún property carries its own NOI alongside a rooftop with an infinity pool. The Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive package opens up access to the full restaurant and mixology programme.

Mousai Suite
This 1,069 sq.ft suite offers wonderful ocean views, a king sized bed, a living area and a terrace with a gold-tiled plunge pool. You can control the curtains from your iPad. The dual vanity in the bathroom comes with onyx sinks and Italian porcelain floors.
Mousai Corner Suite
The Mousai Corner Suite comes with a wraparound terrace that has sliding doors on three sides. One opens onto ocean views, another onto jungle views and the other one overlooks the resort. The bathroom is stunning – the rain shower is decorated in Venetian chocolate litmus.
Ultra Mousai Suite
The Ultra Mousai Suites take you to the next level of luxury. You’ll have your own butler – lifesaver! As the suites are located on the upper floors of the hotel, the views will be even more spectacular. You’ll have a plunge pool on your private terrace. The metallic gold, silver and pearl colour scheme is very chic.
The Penthouse
This is the grandest setting in Puerto Vallarta. Experience pure opulence in this 2,852. sqft penthouse. It has a large dining room, a library, LED screen and entertainment centre, full kitchen, a bar and an infinity plunge pool. A setting fit for royalty.

Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta runs five main restaurants. NOI handles contemporary Italian, DAO is the Mondrian-styled contemporary Chinese venue between the two towers, and Misika brings Peruvian fine dining with an ancestral-meets-global angle. Two rooftop venues, North and South, cover relaxed daytime and evening service with infinity pool access. The Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive package opens up the full restaurant programme and a premium mixology list.
Wellness
Spa Imagine is on the 15th floor, with 360-degree views over the ocean and rainforest. Each treatment suite takes a different chakra as its design reference, and the facilities run to a hydrotherapy circuit with whirlpool, pressure-massage shower, cold plunge, and six-cycle vitality pool. The Thai Massage is the signature, with high-tech treatments including the Binary Premium and HydraFacial also on the menu.
Location
Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta is on Carretera a Barra de Navidad, on the south side of Puerto Vallarta along Banderas Bay, around 15 minutes from the airport and the historic centre. Mismaloya Beach and Los Arcos Marine National Park are a short drive south, and the Zona Romántica with its restaurants, bars, and beach clubs is within easy reach to the north.
