Day 1 To 2: Manila

Day 3 To 5: Dauin

In the morning you’ll take a short flight to Dumaguete on Negros Island. You’ll be transferred to your hotel. Day at leisure by the pool or on the beach.

You could go snorkelling around Apo Island. You could even try diving at Masaplod Norte marine reserve.

As the beach was formed by volcanic ash it’s not the greatest. Most travellers relax around the pools in the resorts. You could set out on a guided tour of Dumaguete and visit the Twin Lakes. There are also hot springs in Baslay.

Day 6 To 9: Siquijor

In the morning you’ll take a ferry to Siquijor island and transfer to your hotel. Siquijor is a mysterious place where mangkukulam healers live in mountains brewing strange potions. That’s the legend, anyhow.

These days you’re more likely to see people lounging in the resorts with a drink in hand. There are also many caves, forests and waterfalls to explore.

Day 6 To 9: Siquijor

Day 10 To 14: Bohol

You’ll transfer to Bohol and check into your beachfront hotel. Here you can visit the ‘Chocolate Hills’ – they turn a chocolatey colour in the dry season. The island is famous for the adorable tarsiers. Their bug eyes are quite hypnotic; truly no other animal on earth can stare in quite the same way.

You can go for a cruise down Loboc River. In the evening, you can watch the fireflies twinkling at night from a boat on the Abatan River. Supposing you’re feeling adventurous, you could brave the Bamboo Hanging Bridge.

Otherwise, you’re free to experience ultimate relaxation.
